PSA: I am switch!

Chris_Xavier said:
You mean sis is a PyL?

I think subs becoming switches is like girls saying they are bi - its the fashionable thing to do.

 I can't believe you just said that....

DeservingBitch said:
Yes, because we all know that girls are so fickle and superficial, right. Why should we take their sexual self-identification seriously?

Seriously.

Chris, as a bisexual switch, that has to be one of the most insulting and ignorant things I've heard anyone say, and I hear bullshit like that a lot. You don't know what's going on in anyone's head.

I get sick of know-it-all, wannabe dominant men who think inside every woman is a good little subbie who's just waiting for the right man.

As far as switching goes, for a lot of people, myself included (and many MEN, too, as a matter of fact), sadism and masochism are opposite sides of the same coin. One need is just as important as the other. There are different triggers for each behavior, of course, but each are valid in their own right.

As far as being bisexual goes, some of us have needs that just one gender can't satisfy.

But, I suppose, if you're a sheltered hetero man, you think that everything a woman does is supposed to be for YOUR pleasure. I'm sorry; I'm not anybody's bisexual freak show. I've had too many men try to turn me into that, and it's bullshit. Every switch ain't waiting for the right Dom, and every bi girl ain't waiting for the right man. That's flawed logic any way you look at it.

HB: Wishing you all sort of evil fun.

I was being sarcastic... sheesh..

Sarcasm: the use of irony to mock or convey comtempt.

Please, explain to me how 'being sarcastic' makes this comment of yours less offensive?

You of all people should know I'm a smart ass.. dayum... (well you and bunny).
Oh - so you were just being 'funny' and we're just being a bit too uptight about it, is that it?
Like all those black people who don't have a sense of humour and can't understand how hilariously funny racist jokes are.

LOL, DB, if you replace "smart" with "dumb" in that context, it gets a hell of a lot funnier. :p

Ayeyey ...It wasn't meant to be any of the above.

However.....

I personally could care less about a person's sexual orientation as long as they don't make me feel uncomfortable in their presence.
Maybe its just me.. but I think sometimes that bisexuality especially is often claimed when it isn't really the case. I think the word used to be "experimentation"

As far as hb or anyone being bi - I have no issue with it. You have to remember that I am the odd one here.. conservative and kinky - now THAT is an odd mix; whereas being a sub and being bi is not so odd - or poly for that matter.

!

Yeah, I realize that you're a smart ass. But..umm. Well do you have a death wish or what? lmao!

Well, i'm going with what *you* wrote. That you were trying to be 'sarcastic' and a 'smart ass'. Now, it's none of the above anymore.

What is it then? Why make such a dismissive, offensive comment in HB thread that she started expressely for the purpose of announcing that she's discovered and embraced her Top side?

And I'm sorry, but you won't make me cry over the tragic fate of the conservative white het Top/Dom male.

"Conservative," in this case, meaning "latent homophobe," I suppose. Amazingly enough, all women's sexual activities aren't supposed to be about giving men something to jack off to.

Seriously, just stop while you're ahead. The ignorance you're spewing is disgusting.

Chris, this is something I've debated about even before I came here. I came out here because I felt comfortable here saying this. That's all. As to my being bi I've known I was bi since I was a teenager. It's nothing new.

Don't think you are the only concervitive kinkster on these boards. :p

Because.. hb and I use to (and I think we still do) have the type of relationship where I could be a "brat" to her and she'd laugh.

DB - I have the utmost respect for you until otherwise given a reason not to. If you were offended, my apologies.

And what makes you think that you're better judge of someone else's sexuality then they are? Or that it is up to you to decide how they should identify, based on *your* definitions? Don't you think that people should be given the credit of knowing what makes them wet/hard?

Or should I just go and assume that you're in fact a repressed raging sub homo who has just not yet experimented enough to know better?

Sorry I'm wasn't sure how to take it. I'm not offended because I'm confident with my awareness about myself. I still felt the need to explain myself though.

Hey now! What about me?

Okay, so I'm a bit too radical to be the drek that is called conservative these days, but the liberals don't want my weird-ass in their camp either. I'm somewhereabouts a Goldwater Conservative or a classical liberal. Tough to make that call. And I'm not totally white either, being legally asian and/or mixed race depending on how bigotted local laws are. I am het and Dom, or, well, in those categories within reason, as they are a shifting spectrum.

Okay, I'm male. No arguing that point. And as the only strong similarity we have is gender, feel free to roast his thoughtless ass :D

You sure you don't want to take a walk on the other side Hommy dear? *licks your back* ;)

(wow that was too much even for me) lol

Totally random thought: Somebody explain to me how you "become" bi or a switch? Is that like "becoming" het or dominant? Or is it a totally different process? Maybe I should've joined the Bi-Switch Union or something.

That's great! :cathappy:

HB -- you don't need to justify or explain yourself. I think it's cool that you started this thread. I hope I've not been rude by somewhat hijacking it -- but I don't think that this sort of dismissive comments should be left unanswered.

No it's like becoming a manager...there's a process, and classes, and certification. Didn't you get the hand book? It was right between the "so you are sub" and "What you think you're gay?" books. :p

Not at all. I just didn't think it would be this big a deal, but thank you for the support. It's taken me a long time to think this as something I wanted to do.
