Are prostitutes(I'm from England) good at their jobs.
Do they train themselves in any way or are they more experienced. I have never knowingly been with one and would like to hear from anyone who has. Or just anyone with an opinion

Well, I've never been with one, but my opinion on hookers, is that their all disease infected. Now, they may not, but do you really wanna risk getting an STD?

They aren't trained? There's no prostitute trade school.

There isn't a DeVry class in being a courtesan. All they are are people who are down on their luck and have no other choice and low self esteem.

risks

Its just a question of interest , like the training of concubines in times gone by

Thanks nasty. That's why I do this stuff.
As soon as I read this thread, I thought about a remark such as that. Funny how great minds think alike.

someone say whores?

I hate them.
Dirty, disease-ridden, foul wenches!
As for as training...well how hard is it to suck a dick?
or give a handjob?
As to the historical angle
I should think that if your going to pay fabulous sums you might want something extraordinary

The great courtesans were successful not because of the rudimentary sex but through excellent customer relations.:)

I think that there's a community college near here that offers a course in the physical entertainment field. It's called Professional Whorology 101.

I think this thread is full of people who know very little about what they speak.

Yes, prostitution is the "oldest profession", and yes there can be problems with it. But to state that they are all disease ridden whores, steps over the line of basic intelligence.

Most are women who have found away to pay their bills, not necessairly their taxes, and use their natural talents to do so. Most are fully aware of the dangers and risks, probably more so than most. They take care of themselves, protection is a preminum.

I wonder if an escort is more "dangerous" to be with, than a girl you meet in a bar, and go home with for a one night stand. Do you know any better who she has been with, do you know any better if she has been careful?

I'll put my money on an escort (pun intended). You know whats going to happen, what it will cost, and the results before hand. Besides, the successful girls are true actresses, and the girl friend experience, without the no no's is what its all about.

Sorry to burst your bubble unregistered but I have had quite a lot of contact with prostitutes trying to help them change their life.

A high number of street prostitutes do this work to raise money for their drug addiction. They are then in a revolving door where they need the drugs to do the job and they need the job to pay for their drugs. Usually heroin. A high percentage are not careful with needles and so they are at a high risk of contracting AIDS or Hep C.

The prostitutes that work in houses are sometimes told by their "boss" to work with a disease they have contracted or lose their job. This isn't the "norm" but it does happen.

Ozgirl, I do not contest your statements, in fact I would agree with them totally. My reference, poorly stated was directed towards the upper end providers. These girls generally charge alot more than street girls, and atleast in my experience avoid drugs etc.

This is a business for them, and not just a way to support a habit. They limit the number of clients they see. They seek regular medical support. They demand the use of protection, etc.One additional thought here. The providers I am speaking of do this out of choice, and a desire to make alot of money. I haven't met one yet that was in this job field because of a drug problem, or working under duress.

Still, I would like to reiterate, that many prostitutes are working on the streets, and have drug problems and health issues etc. I do not know, and really do not have an educated opinion as to whether or not legalization would change this. Somebody else might chime in on that.

Thank you Ozgirl for pointing out the difference. My heart goes out to all those in this field that are not there by choice, but by severe negative circumstances...
