Lit has a policy against that already. You can't use stories as teasers to funnel to paid sites.

OP is asking, I think, for the ability to include promotional links in the story itself. That is, to post an excerpt from a piece for sale elsewhere with a link to the store.

"Teaser" stories are already against Literotica's rules. The base problem as I see it is there will be a story by an author with a link either at the start or after the end that reads, "To see more of my stories go to (fill in a website). It could be spam or it could just be the author trying to get more vies for his/her stories, but the result is the same. Literotica is a "free" site, but they do make money off the traffic to supported links. Allowing links to unaffiliated sites would be encouraging a reduction in the income that supports the site.

The rules for promotion already allow you to select Knight, Rook, or even Bishop when you get your pawn to the far end of the board, so I don't see why the rules need to be changed.
