"Proggressives" and the Wuhan Flu.

Actually I have Shit For Brains. Race was never mentioned Shit For Brains. My categorization is based on legal status alone.

It appears to me that Shit For Brains, Comshaw et al, are the real racists among us.

He's just screeching "Racism!!" autstically because he can't actually argue that your comment was racist.

Racism is how they jump over discussion/argument

as a form of a victory declaration.

To say "Racist" is to declare point, match, set, game without ever taking the court.

The first sentence rings true.

"Progressives" in the US, at least, are socialist/globalist leftists who absolutely hate the country but enjoy every benefit that has been built on capitalism.

Therefore, being a "Progressive" means living as a hypocrite but "they" don't seem to mind as long as they can achieve their agenda which has multiple components.

it's "proggressives"

So-so Sociopath

Now...
Nothing sociopathic about defending the freedom of the individual to pursue their happiness.
Then...
Me? borderline sociopath...I couldn't maintain anything beyond a casual friendship and apparently not any sort of romantic or even really tight platonic relationship if my life depended on it, any sort of positiveness or affection and I block people out.

They only thing globalist about a progressive is knowing that good paying US of A jobs goto other parts of the globe where child labor gets paid slave wages.

That is not hating the US, or being a hypocrite it is recognizing that the corporations and greed have taken over.

Shilling for the corporations who don't give a shit about you or me and playing make-pretend-patriot while you are at it seems to be what defines "Conservative" these days.

This reads like a laundry list of talking point memes.

I'm surprised you took the time to remove the bullets.

Racists and bigots, especially those that loiter ‘round these parts, are not particularly bright or clever.

No. "Progressive" is a term of abuse adopted by US right wingers to label anyone they don't agree with.

In the UK it doesn't have the same meaning. Both Conservative and Labour parties claim to have progressive policies.

Actually, its a term to replace the tarnished labels of Fabian, Socialist and Liberal when
collectivists/communists coopted them in order to fool those they meant to rule.

Progressive is what they labeled themselves when embarrassed,
to use it means you're not embarrassed by it...

It is still mainly a term of abuse. Its use in the title of this thread is an example.

If you can't discuss rationally, just abuse your opponents. There are similar terms of abuse to label US right-wingers.

Not true Ogg. First of all the "progressives" labeled themselves. The right wing wasn't involved with that "Christening." Every decade, more or less, the left over here feel compelled to relabel themselves. They go by "Liberal" on occasion as well. I put the terms in quotes to mock them for they are neither "Progressive" nor "Liberal." They are plain old run of the mill Communists. Petty little run of the mill dictator wannabe's who want to stick their fingers in everyone's wallet then tell them how to run their life after they've been robbed. Indentured servitude is what they offer just one step shy of slavery.

Indeed. Then why in our primaries were all the Democrat candidates
falling all over themselves to assure their voters that they were
sufficiently "Progressive?"

Right-winger being one of them, but Progressive is not.
It is an historical term that the 'left-wingers' got away from
and hid under the label of 'Liberal' until they tarnished it badly
enough that they needed to relabel themselves, so they went back to
the "P-"word, but that is not a pejorative by the right but factual nomenclature.

Having said that, if you call them that, they get their hackles up.
Ironically it's like black people being able to refer to themselves as niggers,
but if you ain't black, you're going to hell for using that word. They're progressive...

Whatever they called themselves, it has still become a term of abuse, and that sort of abuse label seems common in US politics to an extent not seen in the UK. We might not like a particular party's policies but we do not demonise every member of that party.

*chuckle*

I think you're somewhat talking for yourself and not some others that I could name here...
