Profile Picture!!

When you click on your private messages on the left side will have a box and in it will say edit profile. You can upload it there.

You can't get a picture like my super dog until you post 100 times.

Click on User CP. That will give you access to edit Profile Picture.

It will NOT give you permission to upload an AV.

<--- This is my AV.

You have to have made a minimum of 100 posts before you can have an AV.

PS. You are a 'virgin' until you have made 30 posts.

I do believe you have to have a hundred posts as he said. But even then, your profile picture is not what shows in the threads. That would actually be your avatar .

Drag it to the icon on your Desktop labeled "Recycle Bin."

You know...I'm beginning to question my sanity. I have done exactly as you have suggested - User CP, Edit Profile, there is NOTHING I see that allows me to edit/add a profile picture.

I see I can edit my biography, optional information, required information, additional information, but nowhere do I see how to add a profile image. There's nothing that says "upload profile image" or anything like that.

If anyone has any other suggestions, great - if not, I understand, will have to figure this out...

Under control panel it says settings and options.
Then it lists:
Edit signature
Edit email and password
Edit profile
etc

last one says edit profile picture

click that and follow instructions.

Obviously, you missed all the posts where people said you need 100 posts before you can put up an av.

And it's not difficult to put up a profile pic. Really, it's not.
This is one of the easiest boards to navigate!

Edit Signature
Edit Email & Password
Edit Profile
Edit Options

If I click on Edit Profile, there are no profile upload/edit options. Hmmm...

No one's perfect.

I can do heaps of handy stuff: milk cows, change the oil in the car, change a flat tyre, chop wood etc but I can get easily flummoxed by computer stuff till I get the hang of it.

Besides we were all new here once.

Are you on an iPad? I had trouble figuring out my skin and there wasn't a spot to upload from it. I couldn't download attachments either, only from my laptop. Then magically it all appeared to be workable about 6 months ago.
