Profile Pic Missing - NOT an AV Question!

My board profile picture has been missing for a day or two. I uploaded it just fine last week, but it has now disappeared.

And the "Edit Profile Picture" function in my CP is missing also, so I can't upload another. Pic didn't violate forum rules. What have I done wrong?

And I've scoured the boards looking for an answer before posting, so apologies if this is obvious.

Need my profile pic back, because without it I'm not getting the attention I crave or deserve.

Have you recently changed your email address or password?

I recently had this problem and found that I had an email from LIT asking me to confirm changes I'd made to my account. They sent a link, and once I had confirmed the changes, my profile pic and my AV were back.

I changed email and PW before I updated that particular picture, and am pretty sure I verified all through the new email address. And it was working fine for about 5 days after that.

A friend suggested that maybe because I had not posted in some time I had somehow lost that privilege here on the forums. I'm not sure, but I guess I will post and see if my pic re-appears at some point.

There was a temporary glitch that allowed people with under 100 posts to create an avatar.

I think that when Laurel fixed it, she also made it so you couldn't have a profile pic either (but I'm not sure if this was on purpose or not).

In any case, if you get into a conversation or join in on a few threads, 100 posts will go pretty fast.

It seems that you now need 100 posts to get a profile pic as well as to get an avatar.

You used to be able to get a profile pic right away, but the avatar wasn't available until you got 100 posts.

Check out some of the game threads on the Playground. Participate in a few and you'll have 100 posts before you know it.
