I've got 3 dads.

My father
His husband
My stepfather (who adopted me a long time ago...long story)

Anyway, as I got back from my little eurotrip, I find that my stepfather's been in the hospital since the day I left...had another heart attack.

He's finally on the list for a transplant though, crossing my fingers.

On the upside (there's always an upside) ...

France/England were awesome...
And I finally...finally broke all ties with my ex.
The one that is a horrible cheat/liar...
Well, I recently found out that she's playing the same game, with two of my friends no less.
So that was the end of that.

When I've been in the US for a year, I spent the time with two families, thus having two host moms. The second once sent me for christmas a stuffed animal holding a sign saying "Moms are the best collectibles" But dads are second-best

I am so sorry for your loss. In that you refer to him as your adopted dad he must have been someone very unique you chose into your life. Take the special things you loved about him that have imprinted on the person you are today and know nothing and no one can take them from you ever.
