Oh, I forgot. Yesterday my middle girl said she'd make my son a pb&j sandwich. She got done, and he ran screaming from the room and locked himself in his room. She said 'Can I have it?' I was like 'might as well'. But then I saw the sandwich. It was a MAYO and jelly sandwich. EWEWEW I'd have run screaming from the room, too. Worse, though, is she ate the whole thing. *gag*

I made my son a pb&j sandwich.

Shame on you Gracie keeping Mayo in easy reach of the kids, you know that each year there are several Mayo inspired tradegies. Or do you use it more as a punishment device?? If you can't tell I hate mayo, give me mustard any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

My oldest is like that. She can't stand mayo, and loves mustard. I'm the exact opposite, I detest mustard. yick

I bet your one of those people that go to McD's and orders the big and tasty and eats it like they make it right?? Ketchup and mayo mixed eek. :p

Master hates mayo, on anything. When we have KFC (we love the twisters!) I have to ask for a special one without the mayo just for Him :D

I am exactly THAT kind of people ! I love mayonnaise mixed to ketchup in sandwichs and on chips

..... but being European I guess I am not the most entitled to give opinions about McD's !! :D :rose:

Um, actually no. I hate ketchup - it's nasty. And I don't like onions or hamburgers either. I normally get a chicken sandwich.

At McD's a big and tasty is a quarter pounder with about the same veggies on it but it adds mayo, can't remember if it adds mustard too. Mayo and Ketchup mixed is just really nasty, so that is why some call it the big and nasty.

Sounds good to me. Though I don't care if it has ketchup or not. And Quarter Pounders have mustard here. I'm almost positive. Mustard and mayo mixed is good - I particularly recommend it for soy products, like veggie cocktail weenies.

Of course, the times I eat at McDonald's are few and far between nowadays...

I don't know if I can say that does sound good, just that it sounds as good as a Quarter Pounder.

ETA: I tried something called a cheeseburger LT or something of the sort at a McDonald's express in a gas station. It had mayo and other stuff on it. I seem to remember I liked it.

Well here the big and nasty is 1 buck so I will eat it with just lettuce, onion, tomato, and mustard. Or I eat dollar whoppers and sometimes splurge and get onion rings too.

muahahahahah.......

I did a very bad thing yesterday I believe may fit this Thread criteria. While I was staying in the City I had purchased my brothers girls little hot water bottles with hand knitted red woollen covers with a heart pattern knitted into the covers.

History has it my brother has made great sport of teasing my son ( affectionately) with silly gags his entire life. Yesterday as I left their home little miss 2 1/2 years " aunty rebeccaaaaaaaaa don't goooooooooooooo" full pout , bitter look the works. I told her I had things to do though would see her soon. My brother adds "ohhh yes VERY important " as if to imply I didn't in front of his daughter. So I go " its okay sweety I have to go home and feed the ponies then clean the pink saddles".....lol

This child is pony crazy .......I feel kind of bad ( for teasing her )she was still annoying her father about the ponies right up until bedtime I am told(yesssssssssssss and YAY) . What goes around comes around huh. Still feel bad may have to take her riding at Kurnell to make up for it. My brother sooooooooooooo deserved that however........smiles

OMG....

I drove the kids (3; 2 nieces and a nephew) to the library today to trade in their books and let them pick a treasure from the Pirate's Chest. (The summer reading program this summer is Pirates of the Caribbean theme.) So me and the eldest one (she's 6) are passing through the reading room where the fireplace is. The library is an old house that's on the historic register. She stops, runs over to the fireplace and peeks into the woodbox, which is built into the wall of the house. It's the kind that has a door on either side, so you can load the wood into the woodbox from the outside of the house and not track snow all through the library. Er house. Anyway, she goes and looks in the woodbox and then comes right back to me and announces in a really loud voice....

"You know what, Auntie M? That'd be a great place to hide a body! We should make a note of that!"

Everybody in the near vicinity broke up laughing. There was a couple of police men there (mounties! YUM!) and one of them says "Do you have any bodies to hide, sweetheart?"

She doesn't miss a beat and says "It would be very silly to tell you if we did!"

The scary thing is, snowy's staying with me right now. I'm thinking it's probably a good thing I'm too tall to fit in the woodbox.

I really don't mind. I'll do it out of the kindness of my heart, cause I wuv you sooooo much. :catroar:

My daughter often thinks I'm the most insufferable, foolish person in the world (next to her mother), but every once in a while I catch her turning into me.

She was having a conversation with my sister-in-law the other day, and when my sister-in-law remarked that something "wasn't fair," my daughter looked her straight in the eye and said, "No, it's not fair. But it is just."

I love it !!!!!

D, my three year old, came to me and said "Mom! Bappie (that's how he says his sisters name) did that."

I said "What'd she do?"

"She did that!"

I said "Oh, ok."

He ran into the other room, put his finger in his sister face and said "Don't do it again."

I'm still not sure what he was tattling about. All B did was say "LEAVE ME ALONE."

I'll be babysitting my three cousins for a whole week in september, because their parents are going on vacation.
Thankfully my granny will be there, too, so at least the food will be terrific. But I'm expecting a tough time, especially with the youngest, 4 yo, my goddaughter.
