Printing error here

Ok i save a story here as an HTML to my documents, then i go to print it out so its easyier to read it and the bondage sex toy icon ad and the screaming BDSM Movie icon ad is missing, i assume we got an ad break.

But nooo, on the last page the ads which are missing from page one are now at the top of page 9 is now overlaided over the beginning of the story on that that page ! ? So what s this all about and of course how do i fix this and get a normal copy, happened to me on two different OS and printers -

I would copy and paste the text into a word processing program instead of saving the whole page.

Yes i could but so much easyier if i could just print out the whole thing, but a lot of stories are several chapters and 80 pages so full printout is easyier. Isn t this a site problem and can t it be fixed ! ? Have you seen it, the bloody error shows up when you use print preview so bloody weird . . .

Um...what?

If you copy/paste the story in a word processing program, you CAN print out the whole thing. I don't understand why printing from a website would be any different at all than printing from a word processing program.

Yes i know i can print out the entire thing but if a story is mult i chapter that would be a pain, guess you ve never printed a story out here and seen the error on the last page its weird and annoying - will try to copy /paste here so you can see it hang on - dang can t copy from print setup and Print Screen/sysRq is to big i guess.

I've never printed a story from this website, but it's pretty easy to go through and right click-select "select all"-copy-click on your word processing program-right click-select "paste". Done.

On going printing error

Ok here goes this error is getting worse and spreading to other stories; could this be a printing restriction control that the site owner is slowly adding to all stories to stop readers like my self from printing out stories ! ?

Print out the story in this link in a normal fashion no copy/paste/ select all and tell me what you ve got and isn t it very annoying; it s relentlessly spreading to other stories like a virus - yikes - thanks . . .

dude, the fact that nobody else sees this as a bug should tell you something.

are you printing the content because you want to read them later, or for some other purpose? because honestly, the output you'd get is actually way suboptimal: laying out text for print vs online output are very different.

IOW: you're deliberately choosing a suboptimal method for doing what you're doing, but are complaining that...it's suboptimal.

Just clicked on the link and the format isn t the same as the printing setup i assumed the error would transfer but i have one more idea to try out see if i can get the error posted here oh well . . .


As for the Sliverwhisper poster he made no sense ( laying out text for print vs online output are very different ? ) but thanks for the good laugh nice to get a laugh now and then - later yikes . . .

I have no idea why you won't just do it the easy way instead of trying something that isn't working for you over...and over...and over again.

Ok yes yes my other idea worked and hopefully you can see the error for your self ; try clicking on the link again, then print preview and tell me whats wrong with the first and 6th pages , isn t that the weird and so annoying and it spreading to other stories . . . Any one seen this and you let it pass hoping it will fix its self ?

And yes you can copy then paste but for best speed try printing the whole page and then copy paste once you find a story that s a keeper i think you ll find the normal way faster . . .

"Best" speed? This has been an issue for you for WEEKS. What would have been faster in the long run, trying it the way I've described or continuing your futile attempts at printing directly from the website?

Hmm...Logic seems to dictate a different path. After all, insanity is defined as doing something over and over again and always expecting a different result.

No i haven t was only mentioned because someone else mentioned copy and paste and seemed to be happy with pokey printouts some of the storys here are 80/100 pages so why stay pokey sceech . .

Guess your printer must have a pile of dust on it may i suggest stop being so bloody lazy and compare you ll be in for a nice surprise . . .

Tiedup, It looks like you have the printonious virus. The best solution is to uninstall the printer, remove all printer software then reinstall it. If that doesn't work the only option may be to reinstall your OS. Hope that helps

Ok Stryder ty so much glad it seen on print preview wasn t sure what it was and that you weren t scared to pull up my print preview . . tytyty

I'll google it see what gets pulled up then delete and re install my printer software then call up HP thats my printer see what they say about that virus i have extended warranty so they might provide a new printer ; re format is a pain i may just live with it, was so weird only happens on this site no where , wonder how i got it hum ; i am using vista home premium could i re install then use restore to get back to an earlyier version and would that cure it ! ?

Strange my AVG doesn t see this virus oh well . . .
