Zanshik woke up that morning, a little tired, from a night of studying spells. He had to show his bosses, that he was still as great as when they named him High Wizard. He got dressed in his blue tunic, with black pants, and black boots. He put on his silver and blue cloak and set out to the room where he was to show them.
He saw the princess walk into the room, and smiled. He pushed his white hair, out of his face. He was the same age as her, but because of the overpowering magic, his hair had turned white. He walked in and smiled at the royal family, his red eyes, gleamed.
"Your Majesties, I have been working on many a spell, and I will now show you how great I still am" he said, as he conjured a rainbow of fireballs, which danced on his finger tips.
He summoned up wind, rain, and even a thunderstorm. Then, he blasted a pillar, and instantly reformed it. The King and Queen were impressed. For the last spell they brought in a cat, and he focused hard. When he asked the cat to roll over it did. He had control over it's mind.
Little did he know, the spell was stronger then he had imagined, and it affected someone else in the room, since he didn't know this he was unable to reverse the effect on her.
