MY stuff is always clean because that is part of my sub's job to clean the toys after I use them on him.

i have sort of a daily ritual i go through on the days i know i'll see Him (which is six days a week since sundays i devote to my dad). i start the morning with a long shower which involves shaving myself smooth (and i'm not just talkin' legs here!) and i make sure i'm nice and clean. i pick out an outfit and panties that go well with it. i'm an artist, so i have a good eye for which colors complement one another, and which fabrics go well together, etc. He appreciates these little touches, and loves to be suprised with a new pair of panties (variety is the spice of life!) He'll often ask me at some point during the course of our day "which panties are you wearing?" and regardless of where we are, i'll always show Him. (once we were walking along campus when he asked this question, and HE blushed when i pulled up my skirt in front of everyone. i don't think He really expected me to do it!) today, in fact, i was wearing these new red ones that are cut low and just too cute! He was pleased. but other than that, i let Him tell me what kind of preparations need to be made.

since I live it everyday I will take this answer another way..
How I prepare for a subbie training...
assuming for this instance it is a 24 hour training..or 48...use your imagination MissT!
The training will begin at noon as always...
I begin My morning with the slave at My feet, enjoying My coffee as My mind begins to prepare for the hours ahead...
Physically...A hot luxurious slow bath and hair washing, extra care to makeup, more eye emphasis and darker lips than the day to day look.
I choose which leather skirt will be worn with which black corset and stockings...shoes? boots? Mood will dictate the choice as the script is written in the moment and the mood I am in. The belt is chosen by which toys I will hang from it for instant access or effect.
I will not dress until 30 minutes before the arrival of My new *toy* but will begin to prepare My mind for where I may wish to take them during this visit...I will choose the tools by the scenes I have chosen to incorporate or the lessons that need to be learned.
A collar and cuffs are put onto the table beside the black leather chair that has become My *Throne of Domination*
I may place a leather mask, crop and spreader bar where they cannot be missed..even a butt plug...just to assault the mind with a bit of excited anxiety and anticipation.
I seldom allow My slave to assist in these preparations as it is a time I allow My mind to become one with My toys and accessories..to step into My role as trainer and teacher....
he is busy assuring the home is up to My impossible standards as always...BUT...I do not ignore his training during these external trainings as they are simply an extension of the lifestyle W/we share.

Mental prep
Because of circumstances (jobs, kids, etc.) Sir and I live together Friday evening through Monday morning. So of course Friday morning before work I do an extra physical clean up of both me and the house, etc.
But the bigger preparation for me is mental. When I get home from work on Friday, I have an hour or two generally before he arrives, and despite making dinner for the kids, etc. I try hard to kind of shift gears mentally and emotionally from the capable professional and single mom to submissive. Because of the kids, I can't greet him at the door kneeling or naked... but I can be both of those things in attitude and mindset, if you know what I mean, and with his favorite food/drink or whatever ready to serve... and as soon as practical, the kids taken care of, we can retire to my bedroom and lock the door...yea.
Oh, geesh, it's only Tuesday!

Often play was in the evening.
I would prepare myself by bathing and thuroughly cleaning myself. If Mistress required a bath, I would've drawn her one with her oils, using candles to light the bathroom. If there was a Dom over as a guest and required a bath, one would be drawn for him with oils and candles also. Her clothes would be laid out on the bed.
If there were dinner guests over and I was required to do the cooking, the table would be set and food prepared while she was in her office with her guest(s). Depending on the mood, dinner would be with or without candlelight and music. The food would be served, with me in attendance or just inside the kitchen awaiting the diner's needs. Coffee would be brewing for anyone who required it. I would be dismissed to eat my own dinner in the kitchen (unless I was invited to the table).
After dinner, the guests would then go back to Mistress' office and then talk some more. During this time, I would clean the kitchen and all the remenants of dinner. An extra pot of coffee was brewed in case anyone required it.
The play area would now be set. Candles were a must to softly illuminate the room. Music of Mistress' chosing would be playing. Mistress' toys would then be layed out, one by one. A large (minimum 36ozs) of ice water would be ready for her too. When all the preparations were done, she would be informed that all was ready.
Since this was what took place before I became a 24/7, a large hand made bouquet of flowers would greet her when I arrived at her door.

On primping, yes, so much of it is to be left to him, but for me, I often shower with special body gel. Depending on my own state of mind, I may use my ginseng shower gel if I feel the need for energy and a fresh aroma or lilac if I am feeling sultry, sexy and romantic.
My hair is often held back during the day, so when meeting someone, it is left down in loose curls about my face. I have yet to meet a Dom who wanted my hair up! (Easy access!)

I found a no transfer base that I have been wearing so that I don't get make up on His clothing and then He has to go back to the office. I usually wear a red or coral lipstick which He loves and prefers.
