Any female in the Los Angeles area willing to assist me in dealing with this issue? My erections last from four to six hours due to reaction to medication I take. I would prefer to make better use of my time while waiting for them to subside.

1. The condition is "priapism"

2. Anyone who's actually had priapism could tell you that the erection of priapism is exquisitely painful so if what you have is truly priapism the last thing you would want to do is have intercourse.

3. If you really ARE experiencing priapism as a consequence of medications, what you should obviously do is discontinue that medicine and see your doctor, and if you have an acute episode of priapism that doesn't go down for a couple of hours, go to the emergency room for an alpha agonist injection to knock it down. If you don't, you could end up with a case of erectile dysfunction that no drug in the world can help you with.

4. Come up with a better ploy to get laid.

As a member of the health care profession just let me add to Oliver's statement. If you have a priapism, the last thing you want to do is have sex in any way, shape, fashion or form.

Also, sustained erection can lead to not only erectile dysfunction but also serious problems in blood supply to the penis.

As a woman, I say...try something else.....this evidently won't work!
