Oh yeah, she's a badass on the bike, but she also solved an issue with the spitfire so that the right folk won the B of B in WW2.

Looks like a Lockheed Hudson. Long before any drug transporting.
more likely a Japanese aircraft from WWII that was shot down over one of the many jungles in the Pacific as it has a gun turret in the top of the fuselage right before where the tail is and there are machine gun ports in the nose.

OK, so who is she?
Beatrice Shilling.

Shilling, known as Tilly to her friends, was a remarkably gifted British engineer who in 1936 was recruited to serve as a scientific officer in the Royal Aircraft Establishment (RAE), a position she held until her retirement in 1969. Shilling’s decision to join the RAE had a lasting effect not only on her life but also may have saved the lives of pilots and soldiers in World War II.

To those that know, she is a legend.

😂😂 quickly saw this thread, thought it read pretty panties. Im seeing all these airplane pics and thought, what the hell!? And then i reread the title, goes to show i cant read, and where my minds at today.
Anywho, im a big Trains Planes kinda guy. I remember living near Chicago and having to look up at every single plane flying over our property, i still remember being fascinated by the 747’s. They dont build planes like that anymore!

Back in about 62 when I was a kid I had relatives move to Rosemont Illinois when the development was fairly new . I can remember wandering down to the end of the street and standing there for hours watching all the planes taking off from O'Hare airport . At some point they hunted me down and ended my entertainment for the day .
