The Biden administration’s continued appeasement of Iran may leave Israel with no choice but to attack its nuclear facilities, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in Jerusalem on Tuesday.

Pompeo also said that given another year or two under the Trump administration, Iran’s nuclear ambitions would have been permanently eliminated.

“We were never going to let Iran get a nuclear weapon on our watch,” Pompeo told the paper’s editor-in-chief Yaakov Katz at the annual Jerusalem Post Conference.

“We denied them resources, and we denied them the ability to build out a Gulf-threatening culpability,” he said. “The strike on [former Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Force commander] Qasem Soleimani demonstrated our willingness to defend American interests around the world. The work we were engaged in would have prevented Iran from getting a nuclear weapon.”

Well, that's a lie. The Trump admin repudiated the only leverage the U.S. had in that regard.

Pompeo....lol,..that man was upstaged by Kushner.....what a douche (both of them)

Yes, the superb intellectuals who guided the U.S to that flawless exit from Afghanistan are all Jeffersonian in their own way. I think it's that they all use their right hands to hold toilet paper when they wipe their asses.
They put Pompeo and Kushner, who have nothing else but the Abraham Accords to show for their time on the job, to shame.

Kushner owns that piece of shit "accord" which was nothing but a backroom bribe to countries that were already on board.

Pompeo owns nothing ...he was a worthless mouthpiece who believes he left a legacy (he didn't)

Criticize our foreign policy all you want. This stooge's words aren't worth the paper it's printed on

The U.S. needs to state publicly that any Israeli strike on Iran will be followed by an American strike on Jerusalem.

If this deal, which results in generations of sworn enemies of Israel sitting at the same table with the country, holds together, it will do so with no help from Biden.
Biden has a historic opportunity to take the beginnings of the Abraham Accords and make it his own by having major players in the Mideast sign on and stand up against Iraq.
But Biden has never been right on foreign policy. Come to think of it, and just by looking around, it is hard to find anything Biden is right about.

There aren't any parties involved that have any political weight. As mentioned
...it's a bunch of countries that we bribed to sign a statement that they already supported.

None of the major players care or participated and we don't have enough to bribe them like the rest.

That's why real estate grifters shouldn't be in charge of foreign peace policy, especially something as complicated as the middle east.

Whether Biden is right or not on foreign policy is not comparative to Kushner or Pompeo who were collective shit at it.
