Predictions for 2019

Happy arbitrary new year.

In this thread, posters can simply list their predictions for 2019. It is not meant to be a debate, just an opportunity to go on Lit record with a brief prediction about anything, not just politics.

I'll start: The Mueller report will be released very soon, and will be used as the excuse to force Trump to resign. Trump will obviously resist at first, but ultimately he will negotiate the terms of his surrender. The real reasons for forcing this resignation will not be the content of the report, per se. Those real reasons have already been identified by some key Republican Senators and have been discussed with Democrats informally. The real reasons for some Republican Senators to do this have to do with salvaging the Republican Party and reestablishing alliances internationally.

1. BotanyBoy will ascribe imaginary positions to "the left" while excusing and defending Trump and never calling out (R) hypocrisy.

2. I don't think the Mueller Report is coming out soon. There will be more indictments, Roger Stone will be arrested, but I still think he has a long way to go. There will be massive bombshells throughout the year and a fight to get Trump subpoenad or indicted.

3. I am torn about Trump. It could be the same thing, could be a threatened Impeachment with Resignation. But I will go out on a limb and say he'll really start to crack up in public and have a serious melt-down which then causes the (R)s to either force a resignation or for the 25th Amendment to be imposed.

Biden will not run for President in 2020.

Trump was prepared to incite violence if he didn't get elected. He won't go quietly. There won't be a moment when he listens to reason from congressional leaders.
