Prayers, Positive Vibrations Please

Strange request for the forum, but I would appreciate anyone saying a prayer or giving out some positive vibes into the universe for my mother please. Today she is undergoing emergency surgery with a 40% chance of surviving, and I am feeling a lot of things being on the other side of the earth staring at the phone and waiting. I have spoken with her in the hospital and she is remarkably calm and at peace, so not sure if it is a good or bad sign, but we are both very much realists and accepting of things being as they are meant to be despite our wishes they were otherwise. It is also a comfort knowing we have long since spoken of all those things which mattered but people often put off until they are too late. Despite all that, I am sending her all the strength of love and positiveness in the selfish hope we will be able to embrace and talk again in this place and time.

Thanks everyone, it helps...long night and another one ahead as they called off the surgery at the last minute and rescheduled for tomorrow so they could run more tests to try and be prepared for every possibility and disaster. They still are not very hopeful and have been honest with her but she is keeping a healthy attitude and has finally learned to let go of the stress. They have also told her even if she survives they are concerned about the success of the surgery, so we wait.

Thanks KC.....Lit helps pass the hours even if not posting much, and amazing how interesting Jerry Springer becomes when you need to zone out at 1 a.m....lol, as to food and rest, well a certain Master cooked my favourite meal for lunch while I slept as he had ordered.

I'm hanging in there and keep reminding myself the last couple of times my mother has been in surgery they have held little hope....last time she had 2 heart attacks on the table and defied their wildest expectations by living when they revived her. Something about despite her frail and fragile looking 78 yo body, there exists a spirit inside that is stubborn and a fighter when the chips are down....geez, does that sound a bit familiar?!! LOL, she even had a laugh when the doctor who was sent with the consent form gave her the facts and asked with a smile if she was sure she wanted to sign...she has kept an amazing attitude.

*Smiles* Amazing how our Masters seem to know what is best for us even when we don't When my Master was in the hospital He sent me away to rest and do something for myself, which was so hard to do at the time when all my attention was focused on Him

I can imagine how hard this is for you Catalina - I am in the same boat, in another country away from my family (though not as far as you are from yours). My thoughts are with you and Francisco, and hope that there is a happy outcome for you

In the meantime I know it's hard, but take a bit of time to give yourself a moment to breath.
