Well, after 28 days the pain finally ended. WOOHOO! I woke up on Easter morning with zero headache. Granted, I still get a headache, but it has a discernable cause AND responds to OTC medication. I'm very pleased. I will still be going to see the neurologist on the 25th to find out what happened and undergo further testing. Thanks for all of your support!

We're all glad things seem better, but keep your appointment. If there is an organic reason, it might return. Best of wishes.

Went to see the neurologist today. He's 99% sure it was just a major migraine, but he ordered an MRI and bloodwork to be thorough. He put me on Topamax for the time being and will reevaluate it's effectiveness after the MRI.

(Topamax is expensive as hell, y'all. I have insurance so it was only $50 for a 30 day supply, but the usual and customary is 183.98 )

Anyway, that's the latest news. Doesn't look like I'm in any serious danger, thank the lord.

Just a minor update. I went in for the MRI yesterday morning. I can call sometime next week to get the results, but I don't see the neurologist again until July 17.

Sitting here now with a stress headache. Joy joy happy day. But, hey, at least this one I can identify the cause of, lol.
