A message from Jazey

Hi all,

I got a quick PM from Jazey today. She asked that I let everyone know that she had to go to the ER for more back problems. She had to travel to a family wedding, and spent to much time in the vehicle, instead of taking breaks (she was a passenger). She said it's just a "minor setback" and she'll be back in a few days to thank everyone personally. Right now she's just needs rest more than anything, well prayers too.

Oh ya, she also sends kisses and hugs

Hi guys, just dropping in to say howdy doody!! Hope everyone has a great weekend. Things here are fine..now. Had a bad bout but it's going away. They come and go. Please keep up the prayers, have settled nyself to attacking a few job possibilities out there. All 3 part time and thats what I need. I have come waaaay down on the pain meds so I am not too concerned about that getting in the way anymore. Now it's just a matter of finding someone who will take a chance on me. I sure hope being out of the circuit for 3 years won't hurt me too much. I didn't really have a problem when I was out for 7 w/ my neck. I am going in for another shot in both neck and lower back and then I should be good to go, bearing any unforseen troubles, that is. So please, keep the prayers going. Thanks to all of you...*sigh* I don't know what else to say.

For those who do not know Jazey is seeing a neorosurgeon this coming monday. Please keep her in your prayers as she finds out whether she has a back operation in the near future or not. She has been going through pain management and I have come to believe they are glorified pill pushers that are legalized. My hope and prayer for my dearest and best friend ever in my life is that they come up with a plan of action that will relieve her of this pain and allow her to get back to a normal life again.

Jazey my friend, you are in my payers each and every day.

Hi redlorry....Thank you hon, for your kind words. Progress is being made, slowly. But it looks like I mayu be able to start back to work after quite a long time off. Part time to start off wit, and if it doesn't work, then it's disability for me, I'm afraid. The people in this thread are just the BEST!!! You've stumbled into a good one where you will make some damn good friends...thanks for poppin in and I hope to see you again!

I swear, you guys ALWAYS have me smilin!!! Warms my heart, I tell ya!! As if I haven't asked for so much already, I once again need your INTENSE prayers!! I'm in a bit of sticky trouble here and if anyone has any advice, other than what I have found out...PLEASE SHARE!! Heres the scenario.....

2 weeks ago I got a letter in the mail stating that because my minor child is now 19 and considered an adult, I am no longer eligible for State Insurance. So as of the first on the month, I am totally cut off. Unless I am declared "Disabled" by the State, there are absolutely NO programs out there, in my County, that can help me. I am basically screwed and can't even enjoy it...*ggls*

I have checked into every reduced and free meds program there is and I can be helped some, but I can't find anyone who will cover the cost completely. So it's pretty much a moot point. My daughters meds will be taken care of by myself and her Dad paying half, so I can't afford my own. I have started to wean myself off ALL of my drugs, completely. The only ones I won't let go of are the anti inflamatories and the muscle spasm pills (baclofen). W/O those, ya might as well just shoot me...ggls!

Soooo, thats what I'm up against! Now, anyone have any other idea's for me? I am still looking for work and after alot of coaxing my Dr gave me the okay to work 32 hours so at least I will be able to get insurance when I get back to work. Obviously, my main concern is w/ my daughter. As long as she's taken care of, I don't really care what happens to me, but my dilemma is this....if I go back to work and find myself in alot of pain, what do I do? I will have to pay for my meds out of pocket (one of them is almost 600 bucks a month) or at best I will be able to work thru the pain until insurance is available. HELP!!!!...lol! Seriously, if anyone has any idea on how to help, or if you can lead me into the right direction, I sure would appreciate it. Like I said, I know I have asked for so much from you guys already, but if you could keep the prayers up for me, it sure would help...*big hugs all around*

Well gang, thats it for now. Thank you so very much for always coming thru for me...guess I'll never know just what I've done to deserve such good friends. I hope all of you have a great week and that Friday gets here before ya know it!! I know I'm wanting it to get here quickly just cuz I have another shot scheduled for tomorrow AND next week (tryin to get all I can before the insurance is gone...lol). These 2 are going to be doozies! Tomorrows because as soon as I get done w/ it, I have an eight hour car ride ahead of me to go to Ohio and pick up a dear, darling friend of mine who's moving in for awhile...(her b/f has beat her up one time too many and she's finally leaving him!! THANK GOD!!!..so she'll stay here till she gets back on her feet). This is gonna be SOOO stressful but I can't and WON'T leave her in that situation for even one more day!! The biggest drawback is that she has a 3 year old and I am soo not used to to that! I hope I can hold on!!!...*ggls, very warily* So I'll have to lay down in the car and rest and then hit the bed as soon as I get to the Hotel...*sighs and ggls* Wish me luck! Next weeks shot is gonna be a toughie because my Dr does not like to do them any less that 30 days apart. He says they're hard on the body if done sooner than 30 days...but he knows I have no choice as I need them before the insurance runs out. I am thankful he's making an exception. So keep the prayres up, iffen ya would! I still can't say just Thank you...it just doesn't seem like enough! God be w/ all of you!! And Thank you!!

Believe me I hear you sweetheart. The entire insurance situation here in the States has had me seriously considering moving to Canada.

I can't think of anything beyond contacting the individual drug suppliers to see if they have any program to assist people. Let me tell you, those forms have their own challenges too.
