Prayers for Jazey.

For those who do not know Jazey is seeing a neorosurgeon this coming monday. Please keep her in your prayers as she finds out whether she has a back operation in the near future or not. She has been going through pain management and I have come to believe they are glorified pill pushers that are legalized. My hope and prayer for my dearest and best friend ever in my life is that they come up with a plan of action that will relieve her of this pain and allow her to get back to a normal life again.

Jazey my friend, you are in my payers each and every day.

We both know your body has become so used to the pain medication that your natural endorphins are blocked and therefore needed to function in any non-painful way. We also know this appointment is only a first step in another round of tests. I know you're scared beyond belief of the test we talked about.

One step at a time. The appt. Monday. The new MRI.....and take it from there.

OMG....don't ever let anyone tell you that it's impossible to meet special additions to your life, online. Thanks you guys...I wish I could tell ya how much this all means to me. For those who know me, they know how long I have been suffereing with this problem, and being out of work w/o disability pay for over 2 years now. Woody's right...unless you have gone thru it, you can't imagine just how debilitating it can become. This appointment has been set because I have been falling alot lately. I won't lie....I AM scared to death. I thought I was doing okay with it but as each day passes and I stumble more and more I realize there may be some kind of neurological problem here.

All the prayers and good thoughts going around may turn it into nothing more than a disc pushing on my spinal cord...easy enuff to get over. What they have been talking about doing is opening me from the front, inserting a cage around my spinal cord and inserting 4 rods from ass to shoulder. I'm hoping they can conquer the problem with a less invasive procedure...your prayers are all being heard, and I thank all of you for your caring and compassion.....I love you guys!!

I don't blame you for being scared darling. I would be too!! Neurological problems can be so difficult to get a handle on. Hoping as you said it is a disc that needs a bit of attention.

Jazey, speaking purely for myself, you are one of the bravest people I know with how I have been told you have been coping with these problems and ailments. Being afraid is natural. In a small sense it is healthy, because it shows you care about your own well being.

I have been keeping those here in the "family" up to date on you as best I can with them all so busy with children and other things. Shadow sends you his best and says he has most definately added you to his nightly prayers. Wyldfire is planning some of her style of prayer for you as well (we all made her promise not to shed too much blood however..), Swain states he would take your pain and suffering if he at all could. All of us send you our best wishes and hopes that things come out to the best for you and your health!

You are amongst the people whom have treated me kindly when I first arrived here. I hold a special place in my mind and heart for all of tou who proved to me that this place can be special and that friends can be made here. Thank you for that.
