Hi guys,

I know I sound like a broken record but coming into this thread just tickles me and gives me such warm fuzzies!!! Thank you, ALL of you! I am still alive and kicking. Things around here have been hectic and extremely stressful but we all take one day at a time and get thru it. I have opened my home (a VERY small 2 bdrm apt) to a young lady that I love dearly. She was in a very abusive relationship and FINALLY, after 6 years, decided to get the hell out of it!! Drove 8 hours, and got her the hell out of there and her and her 2 yr old son are now living w/ me. WHEW!!! What an undertaking!! I didn't really give too much thought of what was to be, only that she needed to get out of there before he eventually killed her!! ASSHOLE!!!

Anyhow, it's been stressful and my back is bearing the most of that ( time for me to vent, ya all might want to just go to another thread for a few...lol). She is a very beautiful young lady w/ a heart of gold, but thats just what the problem is. She's YOUNG! And not real sure how to be a mother. Her own mother walked out on her when she was only seven so she was never given that "role model" to emulate when it came to raising kids. To make a long story short, I feel as if I am raising 2 kids all over again...LOL! I don't have any extra room and no other place to house them but in my living room. My place is very small, and can only hold a couch, a love seat, 2 end tables, a small entertainment center and my computer. Oh, theres a coffee table in here somewhere..I think. It's pretty tiny..lol. Kayte will vouch for that. Well, w/o going into all the aspects of it, her son has quite the temper, and she is so frustrated w/ him all she can think to do is yell. He has some behaviour problems but to be honest, it's not his fault. HEY!!... do any of you guys know anything about Autism?? I have tried to get some info online and theres TONS of it, but not once have I hit a link that tells you just what the symptoms are and if anyone knows what causes it...not too mention what to do about it.

She has found a job and will get him into a Dr as soon as the insurance kicks in. The baby's father is around only when he wants to be and thats not ever...lol. He's still back in Ohio and refuses to send her any child support. The word useless comes to mind. Okay, my rant is now over....*chuckles*.

Other than that, things are great!! LMAO! Still looking for a job but to be honest, only half heartedly as we're down to one car and 4 different schedules to try and shape into as little trips as possible. What w/ gas prices being the way they are, too much travelling can be damaging to your health...LOL. Speaking of gas prices, if any of you respond to this and are comfortable w/ it, put in what State you're in and what you're paying for gas. I don't know about any of you but here in Wisconsin it's different in different areas. We're paying $2.33 a gallon but if I drive 20 minutes South, I can get it for $2.15!! Thats getting a little too rich for my blood.

Okay, it's time to go lay down and get this back some rest. I sincerely hope all of you are having a great day. Is it snowing by anybody? We've had some here but not much. I don't mind the snow, as a matter of fact I LOVE it...but damn...you can KEEP the cold!! The cold temps literally can throw me into spasms..WHEW!! And those suckers hurt!! So if it's snowing and icy by any of you, please, drive safely...and once again, THANK YOU , THANK YOU, THANK YOU...for all the prayers, IM's, PM's, E-mails, cyber flowers etc.....but mostly...For Caring (warm fuzzy time...again). I hope to be back soon.

I don't know anything about autism except what a new friend has been telling me about what she has learned in IM's...

Thanks for the update Jazey. make sure you take time for yourself in your hectic schedule, and don't blow it off cause someone else complains.
BTW no snow here, thank God. and I don't want it either.

Gas $2.13........ don't like it, but still down a dollar from last summer.

If you're worried about gas prices,use this website! Then,by typing in your zipcode, you can find the lowest prices in the area without having to search all over. Its weird here,living on the state line and ne state having a lower gas tax,so prices vary greatly!

I think I am just going to use this place as my refuge!! Man you people know how to SUPPORT!!! I am very appreciative. Thank you for the info you have all sent in my mail and here. I will try to find some time today to get on here and check it all out. Unfortunately, I am babysitting again, as usual, and I really can't take my eyes off of him for more than 2-3 minutes. Last time I did, to use the bathroom, he tossed a Brass Candlestick holder through my glass table!!( i still to this day have no idea where he got it from!) What a mess, and it's gonna cost about 90 bucks to fix. The glass was beveled and smoked and formed to fit my strange shaped table. Hence ...the stress..lol! I just wish I could get him to STOP SCREAMING!! Thats all he does! Thats what I need to look up, what autism does, and what I can do to stop some of this "destroying" behaviour.

Okay, enuff...Again, Thanks guys...*big hugs*. It feels really good to know I was missed a little. Haven't been feeling too appreciated these days..(oh, woe is me..lol). Time to go feed the little guy anyhow cuz if she wakes up tp early, she stomps around the house and puts everybody in a bad mood.....KEEP UP THE SANITY PRAYERS!!
