Things are going as well as to be expected honey. Thanks. I have been educating myself on this upcoming surgery and have decided to give therapy one more try. I just can't bring myself to allow them to cut me open from the front, and put 4 rods in from my butt to my shoulder...(shudders)..I'm too scared that I will come out of it in worse shape then when I went in...and it IS a possibility. I'm confused as hell...and even more scared. *sighs* Oh well....I'll figure it out some day...lol. You hang in there hon, and know you are close in my thoughts and always in my prayers.

There's no going back once it's done though. Know you're scared to death about it, I'd be hard pressed to take that plunge myself if wearing your shoes. (not that they'd fit, LOL!)

Hi Jazey, I would be hard pressed to have that operation myself. It's not an easy choice. I had triple bypass 12 years ago and its not anything close to yours. But I wouldn't want to go through it again either. Your still in my prayers, you take as much time as you need. Your doing the right thing, get as much information as you can. They are starting me on a new drug...A fentynal patch. 69, I know you have had this before but has anyone else had it that could give me some in and outs on how well it works? I have found that this place seems to meet my needs more than any other as far as my info gathering is concerned...afterall, whats better than first hand experince...lol. Take care all!!

Morning Mary!! Hope today is proving to be pain free for you, luv. My Halloween was nice. I got to sit up long enuff to carve pumpkins w/ my 18 yr. old. It was fun!! Then it was on to the caramel apples afterwards. They look sooo yummy!! I hope yours was a safe, fun filled weekend, sweetheart!

Oh Honey, I am soo sorry you were sick!! Be careful with that stomach virus as it's proving to be a real bitch to get rid of, from what I've heard. I'm glad you were able to hand out candy tho. Where I live (an upper flat above a business) I don't get any trick or treaters and I miss it so much!! When I had my house we used to make quite a production out of it every year. It was so much fun to watch the lil ones, especially when they were trying to maneuver around in big bulky costumes!! I'm hoping to be in a different place next year and be able to watch them again. That was the best part of Halloween...lol. That and raiding my kids bags for all the almond joys and tootsie rolls...lmao!
