I used to have a thread awhile back, and it was to be a supportive thread for people who are going through a bad time.
Well I know many who are going through bad times now and need this. So Please only post things that need prayers and good thoughts and encouragement.
Thanks.

I have an urgent prayer request for you. A friend of mine who is 45 yr old woman, just found out she has 6 months to live. She has a lung disease and she didn't even know she was sick. They said she has the lungs of a 90 yr old. With out a transplant she will be gone in 6 months and she will be leaving behind a 21 yr old son, whos dad has never been in his life. Her parents will watch over him but it has hit everyone very hard. She was just shocked and is having to get her affairs in order. She had to quit her job and now has to get people to help her. One lung is only working at 17% and the other at 50%. She is just devastated at this news and anyone would be. So PLEASE pray for her. Her name is Kathy.
Thanks...

I am so sorry. It must be devastating to her. As bad as my problems are, they pale in comparison. Give Kathy my love and support. She's going to need her friends.

There is little to be said to situations such as this. Prayers and good thoughts go to Kathy.

And by the way, this is for everyone to use. If you are going thru a difficult time and need support, please post here.

Spenser,

Your friend will be in my thoughts and prayers. My father was on the liver transplant list, and I've dealt with the UNOS before (she is in the States, right?) so know a bit about the organization and what a blessing/burden it can be to be on the transplant wait list.

You can still give the gift of life after you are gone. Organ donation is something many don't think of, until it touches their own lives.

Please keep us informed of how she does, and her status on 'the list.'
