I totally know what you are going through because I went through the same thing with my Dad. I am so sorry that you are having this to go through but it can also be an opportunity to say everything you always wanted to say to each other. My Dad was not a demonstrative one (not one to say he loved you) but he showed it in everything he did. He was finally able to tell me how he felt and his treatment was a family project. I will always treasure this special time I had with him. I feel both my parents around me now..........

Re: As war looms ever closer

Many prayers go out to the US troops, and also the
armed forces of Britain & Australia who have come
to help and support us.

May prayers go out to those countries who do not
support the US in this possible war against Iraq.......while
in a way I understand their reason for diplomacy, there
are a lot of things now that make war a very strong
possibility, and that these countries (they know who they
are....esp. some of them are Allies of the US) will come
around and support us and help rid the world of a dictator
and terrorism.

Sounds pretty strong for a Wednesday, but I had to
let it out.

Jen I just hope we all remember the true heroes ...the men and women of the services.....you are a patriot like me.....

As my son and my ex travel south to Palm Springs to say their goodbye's to their aunt/ great aunt, I Say a prayer that her transition will be a special one. When my ex's Mom passed away near his 18th birthday, this fine lady stepped in and was there for him as his mother would have been. She was the grandmother to my children that they needed and so wanted.

I pray for a safe trip for my son and his dad.

I constantly pray that the powers that be in this world think very carefully before they act.

I am so blessed, I am married to an angel. We shared a magical day today, going for a long walk to see the sea in the distance through the mist, it was very cold, but the sun was shining on our love.

Bless you all, prayers go out to those suffering today.
There will be at least half a million people in London tomorrow for the peace march. I join my heart with their movement, may the energy of the march create a powerful shift in the direction of harmony and calm. Believe in the power of grace and forgiveness.

Tonight as I get ready to go into work for the overnight
shift, I will be driving carefully thru the rain, as now Spring
started 8pm EST tonite................the world cries as the
war gets underway........and tonite will be thinking of our
women and men in the Armed Forces over in Iraq as they
start the mission that we've been waiting for for 12
years............may they stay safe..........and also prayers
to their families, which are going thru emotions
undescribable right now.

What is going on is scary to us all. The outcome could change the way we live for the rest of our lives. I pray everyday that the ones that are in charge have the Lord to guide them to do the right thing. To show them the way. I also pray for the lost souls that have died on all sides of this War. That they are in God's hands in Heaven.
