Pray with warmlips

As things progress and move quickly over in the war zone,
our good thoughts and prayers grow more and more.......
esp. now casualties are happening..............this is a
difficult time, and I have a feeling that this war is not to
be over quickly as originally thought.

Stay positive, and keep the faith!

Dear God,

In spite of our efforts to constantly define and redefine
the geo-political boundries that separate us;
Your spirit infuses us with the knowledge that we are One.
All over our world, opportunities exist for healing and peace.
May we each find ways to manifest the highest of which we are capable.
Help us find our way to each other.
Help us awaken from our nightmares and insanity.
By Your light, show us the way home.
Free us of our fears that we might fully realize
we are all Your children and we are connected
heart-to-heart.

Amen

--Ric Beattie

I pray for all the people affected and caused further suffering by the war in Iraq, especially the children, who have not, and would not have, chosen in this situation. They are so precious, they are the future of a country, and therefore the future of the world, we are not separate, as Ric writes above, despite the walls people have put up around their area of land for centuries.

Everyone matters, not just those on 'our side' for we are all on the same side, which is love.
Please keep praying for peace to enter the hearts of men in positions of power, that they might realise what harm they cause in their decisions, and choose instead to make loving decisions which lead to joy and happiness in people's lives.
Peace is always possible,
warmlips

Sending out morning thoughts and prayers to the
troops over there......:rose:  :rose:

It is raining here tonite where I am.....and it seems that
its tears falling from heaven...........the world cries because
of this war..........as much I and many many others do not
like the idea of war, it is *important* that we stand behind
our men and women of the Armed Forces and send them
positive thoughts and prayers..........:rose:

I totally agree TigerJen..... it is a terrible situation and the rain is definitely tears from heaven.

I cannot say I agree or disagree on the war. It is a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation I think. If we sat back and waited we don't know what might have happened, if anything. But then again how do we know we would have not been attacked in some way or another.

Those are the thoughts going through my mind right now. But I pray to God to watch over them all and to lead the way for them. To be in their hearts.

Tonight on the news is the first time I have thought that someone shouldn't go over there to help do all that they can......
They talked about a little 1yr old baby was being left in the care of his grandmother while both of his parents go over there. I think one of them should have been spared to stay home. I know they are going over there to do the best they can, I just hope they both make it back safe and sound.

Love and Prayers for you all!

That is tough w/ both parents being in the military and the
children are left in care of relatives or another caregiver....
very tough........

In any case, this morning thoughts and prayers go out to
those children who have one or both parents in the service,
and may the parents come home safe and sound!

Hi, i'm a military wife, my husband's deployed on a ship w/ the navy. it's been a LONG 4 months! i just wanted to tell you all that posted replies on here that i appreciate your prayers for our military & i too pray everyday for their safe return, & that hopefully soon, peace comes & we stop all this.
but like i tell my husband, i hate that he has to be involved in this & as much as i wish there was another way to resolve this war, i will support him, wait for him, & be there when he pulls in.
i'd just like to thank you all again, even if you are extremely against war, it's not the soldiers war, it's the country's. personally it bothers me when the protestors blame the military service members for war, because if they had to walk their husband down the pier & see so many grown men crying, so many soon-to-be fathers (that by the way, still haven't seen their baby's in person for 6 months) they'll realize that they do their duty. & part of that is tearing themselves away from their families to serve a country they so dearly love. i wish everyone could understand how these men love 2 things & at the worst times, must chose only one.

i would like to send out a special prayer & my thoughts for the families of the service members that left their wives, soon to give birth, & have died since, without even seeing their babies. i would like to personally thank them for their sacrifice defending this great country.

thank you all again

An American Muslim? I thought you were a Wiccan, Dream? Do you change your beliefs to suit your mood?

I think you are a closet Catholic. You can't seem to master the art of birth control.

Damn...I made a joke. Master...art...get it?

I agree w/ baby Bear (aka biggbear)..............let's keep this
thread positive, as it is open to everyone of *all* faiths!

There was some heavy stuff going on over there today,
and 4 U.S. soldiers killed............prayers to their families
who await the news, and that they died knowing their
love for their country and what they were fighting for.

:rose:  :rose:

Still passing on good thoughts and prayers to the men
and women over there .....:rose:  :rose:

As I lay me down to sleep
I pray my soul to keep
Watch over everyone over there

:rose:  :rose:  :rose:

Boy this thread has been left in the dust

so I am going to bump it up........

The war has progressed, and now things are moving
along hopefully with the rebuilding of Iraq, the getting
together of a new government, etc.

Keep the positive thoughts and prayers coming for our
troops over there...........

A couple of items:

Thoughts and prayers go out to the family of David
Bloom, who did a lot of reporting for NBC while traveling
w/ the 3rd Inf. Unit.........he passed away not from
combat, but from pulmonary embolism (blood clot that
travels up to the lungs), which most likely was caused from
cramping in the legs for long periods of time, etc. He will
be missed.

And justice hopefully will be served........thoughts and
prayers go out to the family of Leon Klinghoffer; he died
at the hands of hijackers in the 1985 hijacking of the Achille
Lauro cruise ship, and was thrown overboard, along w/
his wheelchair. Only a few days ago, the mastermind of
the 1985 hijacking was captured in Baghdad, and the
family hopes that he will be tried in the US.
