PPE, HazMat and other random thoughts...

I almost choked on my Pepsi when I read that. So what do you say? You, me, and a safety harness?

(you realize half the board think we're insane)
(the other half knows we are)

And then there are a few who may know exactly what you're talking about.

How about a little confined space entry practice?

That depends

on what you plan to do with that safety harness my dear.

Only half know that we're insane?? We need to work on that. BTW, I was getting insanely jealous when I read your posts with that other safety professional...grrrrrr

Actually it's beer, pizza and a woman in a bathtowel I was hoping for.

But if you have a little extra.......

Alright!

Cool Cheyenne, grab your PPE and join the party! Dare I ask how an accountant knows about confined spaces?

MOS, you'll always be my favorite safety geek, kisses.

Thank you Cheyenne

For the lovely image, personally I always enjoy confined space entry, the more confining the better.

.

No 40 hour training here (I refused!), so I have just enough knowledge to be dangerous. Let's just say I know quite a few people in HAZMAT area.

Thought you might like that one. :D

But, do you follow the rules and have someone around to "pull you out" of that confined space if needed? Or do you live dangerously and go solo? ;)

Well

the thrill of entering a confined space by yourself is a big part of the excitement, but sometimes it's nice to remember the buddy system and take a partner with you, assuming the confined space is capable of accepting the two of you.

Hmmm.... last time I checked the buddy was supposed to stand guard while you entered that confined space slowly and carefully, not join in the fun! Of course, if there are 3 guys available for the job......

(edit: Bed time for me, too! should have started this one much earlier..... )

Wow...

one little post and we get safety pros crawling out of the woodwork.

As much as I'd love to hang out and host a little PDC, I need to get to bed. Continue playing on my thread, just be careful out there and remember your splash guards.

That sounds kind of yucky.

Good night, I heading that way myself (separately folks, let's not get carried away).

Do you have a permit to do that?

And if so are you doing it Ergonomicaly correct? Ever do it in full PPE? hehehe

We in the NSC have a new designation CUSA for those who pass the mustard.
