This was an interesting question... For those who don't know, Power of 10 is a new game show where they poll a bunch of Americans and the contestant has to guess how people answered in terms of percentage.

The question: What percentage of Americans think the world would be a better place is America ruled all of it?

So the guy has a 10 percent band, and chose 30-40%. This was the million dollar question, so if he gets it right, 1 million dollars. Gets it wrong he's down to 10K. If he had walked away, he would have gotten 100K.

I wonder what percentage of Litizens think that?

19% huh? Works for me.

We need to get our own house in order. ;)

Who needs all that extra grief?

Ruling, or being the boss of anything, is all well and good until you actually try to do it. The underlings, whoever or whatever they may be, never cooperate or act like they're supposed to.

Well, it didn't say whether we would be better off, but the world as a whole.

I think the thing that would suck is letting all 'dem furriners vote an' guff.

Vote? We'd let them vote? Oh well, maybe.

This would be Pax Americana--astride the world--a mighty colussus.

They would do what we tell them to do--and how to vote.

Sorta like most big cities and small towns. :D

Well, maybe we would treat them like Puerto Rico. They give us rum, and we let them be "citizens".

This would depend on the nature of "rule". If there were one nation, the United States of the World, with one currency, one national government, etc., and the US Constitution as the supreme law of that worldwide nation, yes, probably. On the other hand, it you are talking about the US ruling colonies, such as the Roman Empire or the British Empire, or some of the others, no, I'm sure.

Wow, with ten votes, Literotica voted the same way as America! I don't know if that scares me or relieves me.
