Potato Salad fixins'

Okay, so we all pretty much know what goes into a potato salad, at least the generic stuff, but what about other things? What do you put in your potato salad to spice/zip it up? I put lemon juice and capers in mine. I need some ideas!

i have an excellant hot potato salad recipe ... the usual stuff but then bacon strips and bit of onion nuke it in the microwave for few mins and then crisps over the top

My mom makes the best potato salad in the world. She also puts in celery seeds.

I put lots of onions.. celery seed... and the most important part.. Claussen Pickles. Chop a bunch of those up in the salad and when you are done, pour some of the pickle juice into the salad and stir it up...ummm good

Dunno why either. I thinks it's the mayo. Me'n mayo don't get on so well. I can make a cheesecake so good you'll orgasm, but I'll make a potato salad that'll get your stomach pumped.
