I hope I get a better response than what I’d get from an obvious bot
Good luck with that - and weren’t you advised to change your user name so as not to pretend you are the author whose stories you want to continue. It would be a good idea.I hope I get a better response than what I’d get from an obvious bot

Right. No.
Em gave you the answer, which is no. There is no facility on this site for soliciting public feedback on draft stories. You publish, then ask for feedback. That's how it works. There is no "better" response to give you.I hope I get a better response than what I’d get from an obvious bot
They could get a beta reader! Calling an established presence on here a bot isn't a great place to start, though.Em gave you the answer, which is no. Sure, but a beta reader is one person (or several) that the OP would need to find, in a private arrangement. I read his question as wanting a public place to solicit feedback for a draft story. They could get a beta reader! Calling an established presence on here a bot isn't a great place to start, though.
The idea is that you write your stories and publish them in their completed form. Don't outsource the hard work of plotting or proofreading to your readers: do it yourself. Is there a way to publish drafts as "stories" with the intention to get feedback on them?

A witch! One of the nicer things I’ve been called around here. Might have upset me in another phase of my life. Now?

Which presumes that anybody is around to use the feature - it's not a high traffic site at the moment, although you'll occasionally see a tumbleweed blow past. That's not to criticise the site - it's just not really launched yet.Try erotext.me. There exists a feature, where you can upload a draft that is read by other members who identify themselves as beta-readers.
