Post-apocalyptic fun (ic)

"Of course I realize that. Regardless I thought it would be appropriate for me to know the name of my savior...I guess I was wrong," she whispered softly as she ran her over the helmet. Ashlynn was unknowingly looking for some kind of latch or something. "You're not actually invisible...it's the metal suit," she commented easily.

Her blue eyes were curious as her hand continued to move over the helmet. She'd never even heard of such technology in the real world. "You're not some kind of android are you?" she asked with suspicion plain in her voice. Her head still hurt but she was following the conversation well enough.

"Android? Heavens no...that would suck, and not in a pleasant way!"

Never mind that her life sucked for the last two years.

"Though, I do admit my social skills are a bit rusty..."
she paused and took a deep breath, "Lovisia."

There, the woman had her name...not like she'd be able to do anything with it...no big deal.

She had just resolved to get up when Ashlynn found the release stud for the helmet. There was a "hiss" of depressurization, and the helmet's active camo disengaged...

"Ashlynn," she replied softly, just as her fingers hit the release stud. Her resultant gasp of surprise was barely covered but the hissing, as the helmet became visible.

"You sure look like some type of android who never got their realistic skin," she said with a soft smile at the sight. If it weren't for the voice and the feel of the still invisible body, she wouldn't be able to tell if Lovisia was a woman or a man.

Lovisia

That smile...for her this time...oh God was she wet now. That was a smile she could wake up to...

"Ashlynn...a beautiful name for such a sexy woman..." Lovisia already knew Ashlynn was into women from watching her and Xaphia. Hopefully, her helmet would be removed and she'd get that kiss she craved...hopefully even more than that...

Ashlynn blushed slightly and continued to move her hands over the helmet, looking for the release so she could see the face of her savior. "I'd say something of the same but I'm not sure what you look like. Though you feel like you've got a great body," she replied, "But even so it's a little disturbing that I can't see it."

She tugged experimentally at the helmet and smiled as it came away to show her savior's face. Biting her lower lip, she looked up at the beautiful face before her. "You're very sexy," she whispered, barely keeping herself from grinning like an idiot. It wasn't everyday the girl found people she was attracted to and today she'd found two.

The battle started off well, the angel got a few shallow cuts, nothing that wouldn't heal within a day or two, in before the demon was fully ready. Soon though it turned into a stalemate, even with those annoying bullets. They were as much of a detriment to her as the demon. Even though they were hitting the demon, they were restricting her field of movement. She wasn't as tough as she used to be, and was significantly less durable than the fiend before her. Though such weak bullets would not do much to wound her either, they would heal within a few hours, they could through off the delicate balance and swift movements she relied on...and that could prove disastrous.

She had just gotten her animated blades into the concealed locations from which they would strike, when she saw an opportunity and took it, only to find it was a trap.

The holy armor held on her wrists and foot, the fiend's flesh heated and began to smoke from the holy metal. The blow to her wing however, did cause a loud grunt of pain as her face briefly contorted in agony, only the fiend's warning enabled her to steel herself against a scream.

The head butt sent her sprawling, momentarily dazed. The holy jewel upon her forehead flashed a blinding light as the demonic flesh made contact with it. When God had been around, the jewel could have permanently blinded demons, either on contact with any part of their flesh, or a ray of light into their face. Now, it was only able to blur their vision.

The abomination wisely withdrew, for when the angel got over the pain of her broken wing, she would possess a large enough edge to land blow after blow on the fiend. It would not affect Crimson as badly as it would other demons, but it would still be enough to tip the battle in the angel's favor. It also left a very nasty burn on the demon's head were it made contact.

"The only songs will be those of celebration at the ending of your foul existence, demon,"
she retorted, rising to her feet, forcing the agony down. Angels were fully dependent on their wings for flight, now that God had left...she would not fly for days, maybe a few weeks depending on how bad the injury was.

"We will meet again indeed, Turpis Maculo...and my blades will bite much deeper then..."

Foulest Defiler in the language of the local men, that was the abomination's name in the tongue of the angels.

((OOC: Yes, I used Latin for the name. Everyone knows you have to use Latin when involving angels and demons. *nods sagely*))

Lovisia

As the helmet was removed, her coppery hair flowed down and her teal eyes were finally able to gaze upon the woman themselves. She seemed even hotter to her eyes than she did through the helmet, though she knew that was just her mind thinking that.

Just like it was thinking about taking Ashlynn somewhere safe and ravishing her.

"Thank you,"
she smiled back, "I think I would very much like you to see the rest, later in a safer place. For the moment though, I think we will have to settle for traditional kiss you're supposed to give me for saving you..." her smile broadened, her expression leaving now doubt of how badly she wanted Ashlynn.

Ashlynn looked up at the other woman in surprise at her words. A kiss for saving her. She leaned up and brushed a soft kiss over the stranger's soft lips. It was almost childish how innocent the kiss was, but that had more to do with Ashlynn never actually having one that felt as good as the innocent ones.

She still remember how the man in the ruins had shoved his tongue into her mouth roughly as he tried to get her clothes off, any time someone tried to press for a deeper kiss. Unpleasant memories caused her to pull back from the innocent kiss and she bit her lower lip lightly.

The only thing that was keeping her from panicking about being under Lovisia was that she kept most of her weight from bearing down on the girl.

The car he was hiding behind was soon riddle with bullets as the mysterious figures opened fired on him. Despite the car being old, broken and run down. It still offered fairly good protection, for the moment but that wasn’t going to last. He could hear from the gun fire that they were walking towards him. Then he heard it the stopping of the gun fire and the sounds of the magazines hitting the ground.

Moving from his hiding space and taking a chance in them not having load weapons. Kris quickly fired several shots at his attackers. All of his shots hit home as two of the ten attackers fell dead, Kris watched as the others paid no mind to there fallen comrades not caring if they were still alive and breathing.

“ Shit” Kris shouted as he dove back for cover as they opened up on him again. Kris new that he would have to move from there and fast since the bullets now are going all the way through it.

“ Now what to do ” Kris whispered softly as he looked up into the sky, . As he waited for them to reload he watched as a grenade landed right in front of him. “ That’s not good” He added. But to his surprise it released smoke. Which it engulfed him and it gave him somewhat an advantage. How much he wasn’t sure but it was enough for him.

The he saw it , in a broken window a mannequin. It had lost one of its arms, full of wholes and the coloring had fade away. But it still would work for what he had planned, Kris quickly moved silently towards the building, only to have a rain of bullets come at him once more one of which narrowly missed his face. It just grazed the side of his cheek. But the never got to there he soon felt a hand wrap around his arm and he soon found himself flying backward towards the building he had just came from. His back hit the wall hard, he had lost his breath once he had recovered it he started to breath hard.

“ What in the hell happened” Kris said softly as he tried to stand up, He hadn’t seen the attack or who it was. But who ever it was they where skilled better then other soldiers he faced off against.

Then he heard it a laugh, it wasn’t a normal friendly laugh at jokes, it was one that found pleasure in what they just did.

“ If I kill you….. If I kill you the images and voices will leave” A voice told Him with a strange laugh.

“What” was all that Kris could say as he looked up and saw a figure in full body armor, as he looked at the figure he saw that the armor was designed for a girl. He could see her figure outlined by the armor which she had a good figure.

“Now why am I thinking like that” Kris replied to himself, “ who ever she is, she’s gonna kill me “ Kris noted to himself. But he could recognize who she was or why she wanted to kill him all was a mystery until he saw her remove her helmet.

“ It’s you” Kris shouted in surprise as he looked at her face. He remember who she was a girl that he grew up with. Along with her brother they were close friends until that day he decided to leave, he killed her brother and she was there to see it.

He saw that her eyes where open big, she looked different, like a insane person who had lost there mind an didn’t know what they were doing. But she was different she knew what she was going to do to him.

“ I’ve finally found you…. Now….Now I will Kill you” The girl replied giving Kris a smirk as she pulled out a Asp Baton.

Lovisia

Lovisia closed her eyes as the woman leaned up to kiss her. She was a firm believer that the eyes should be closed for every kiss. The kiss was soft and sweet...innocent. It fueled her long suppressed desires, bringing them to life. She had deepened the kiss, an almost imperceptible amount, when Ashlynn withdrew.

Opening her eyes, she sensed something was wrong. Looking into those breathtaking blue eyes, she cocked her head slightly, wordlessly asking "What?"

At that point, there was a loud cracking of concrete, followed by a the snapping of bone, grunt of anguish, and the crashing of metal on concrete. A normal human would only have heard the first and last of those from here, but Lovisia's ears were both genetically and cybernetically enhanced.

Looking back down at Ashlynn, she slowly leaned down as if to kiss her, stopping so close the woman could almost feel them, and slowly breathed her hot breath across those sensual lips.

Withdrawing, she reached for her helmet and slid it back on, her head disappearing once more. Getting to her feet, she slid an invisible hand into the prone woman's and helped her up.

"We should not remain here, it's too dangerous," as if to prove her point, automatic fire began to rain down on a metal object, most likely a vehicle, not too far away.

"Do you know this area well?"
she asked, pulling her away from the open window, "Anywhere that is relatively safe?" her hand was still loosely in the girl's so she would know were Lovisia was, but no one else would.

Ashlynn saw the question in the other woman's eyes but didn't reply as she shifted her gaze away. Her near rape wasn't something she wanted to bring up with someone she'd just met. No matter how attracted to that person she might be.

Her gaze shifted back to the woman as she leaned forward. There was confusion and a slight fear in her eyes that truned to relief as she pulled away.

She let Lovisia pull her to her feet and nodded her head slightly as the gunfire started. Letting the other woman pull her away from the window, she tried to focus on what was being asked of her. "I just wandered in a day or two ago. I guess we could head to the building I stayed at last night," she said softly. It wasn't that far from where they were anyways.

Letting her gaze move over the hallway, she slowed down. "I can't leave Xaphia," she said softly, "The girl from earlier...I'm not comfortable leaving her here on her own."

“ Commander We have orders to bring him back alive.” One of her men told her just as he grab her arm. He must have been new. Because anyone who knew her would know never grab her .

The girl looked at the guy her eye got big, but it was to late for him he soon realized his mistake. The girl quickly took a hold of his neck and rammed him into the wall shattering it. She quickly let go of him and watched as he fell to the ground, landing in the pile of rubble. The man watched as she drew out a pistol and took careful aim at hi.

“ Wait” he whispered softly as he tried to find the right words but he didn’t finish as she opened up on him. She kept firing repeatedly into him.

Kris watched as she attacked him, she was different from the way she was before. She had lost her shy and friendly nature. Kris looked at the remaining figures as they started to raise their weapons at him but he quickly sent them for cover as he fired at them. At the same time he towards the building the girl crashed into. Kris quickly ran into the building just as he entered it he saw the girl spin around and pointed the gun in his face but she soon saw Kris had pointed his own at her.

“ Don’t” Kris replied as he looked at her. But his eye’s soon gazed onto the dead body of the man she attacked. He had multiple gun shot wounds to his face and neck there was to many to count but from the look of it she must have empty an entire clip into him.

“ You change your appearance Eve.” Kris told her as he looked into her eye’s. he had remember when she had longer hair. But right now she had cut it never the less she was still cute with her short hair.

“ Do you think you can take me on ? ” Eve asked him.

Kris and Eve are in a building next to the one Tomas and Allea walked out from

"We´ll meet again, my dear little bird... we´ll meet again, and I´ll make you sing for me."

The pink eyes retreated into the darkness with the sound of steps as their company, until the shadows swallowed them...

Thomas managed to fire five very well aimed rounds in the general direction the Demon had disappeared into before she vanished altogether. He could only hope the five expensive rounds were well spent. For a few seconds he remained in perfect firing position, his feet shoulder width apart, knees slightly bent, his body at an angle to the enemy in case there was return fire. One arm fully extended, but slightly bent at the elbow, the other tucked in tightly near his chest. Something about the Demon just... Threw him off.

What she said to him really wasn't all that appealing at first, death, destruction, where would he eat, what would eat, who would he protect? Forever and ever he had been the protector of the convoy and of the surrounding settlements. But there were very few challenges left here, Crimson, the Demon, was the hardest thing he'd fought since the last armored raiders came at him. They had been well organized and well armored... Since then, the odd Night-walker, Vampire, and occasional mutant beast were it.

Thomas used the hot barrels of his gun to scratch at the growing scruff on his beard as he turned to look at the Angel who had helped him. He felt for her, the painful snap had made him slightly ill, but one got over those sounds quickly nowadays. "Thank you." Then he glanced at the wing, "I'll have a medic take a look at that. Let her know if there is anything else you need..."

It was second nature, his weapons holstered themselves in his sleeves where he always kept them as the Strike team came down, weapons pointing out. "Get Jill, she might need surgery. Turning on his heel Thomas offered his hand, "I'm Thomas, if you didn't know. Who are you? Besides, well, the obvious."

I should have brought the other swords into play sooner...before she had a chance to ready herself...or as she sprung her trap, she thought bitterly.

She inspected her wounded wing, not without pain in doing so. That'll take 5-7 day's, she estimated.

If Turpis Maculo (Crimson) had not possessed telekinetic powers, the angel would have charged after her, inspite of her wing. However, as is, it was too dangerous to pursue her.

Had her wing not been broken, she would have flown off, as is, she was stuck with a ring of men aiming weapons down at her. So, all she could do was stand until their leader approached.

"You are welcome Thomas. My name is Aella," her voice held the strength of a warrior, the glory of heaven, and yet the softness of a woman, "I would greatly appreciate it if your medic could set the bone, that would shave at least half the healing time off of it."

She did not take his hand, not out of rudeness, but the fact that both her hands held swords, and she was clearly on guard lest the demon double back for another attack. She knew the blinding flash would not last long on that demon.

"She can. She is probably still out front with the dead human." Jill always was a bit too sentimental for Thomas. In this world one needed to be hard and strong to survive. Or... You could be blessed with the gifts of an Angel, Demon, or any otherwordly creature. They had quite an advantage. Meanwhile around Thomas the Strike team was picking through the wreckage, retrieving spent shells that would be used to make new ones and observing the damage in the area, as well as searching the nearby cars for anything of value.

"Here she comes..." Thomas said a few minutes later, as he heard the flapping sound of a medic bag slapping against Jill's thighs.

After only a few seconds she turned to Thomas, "I need proper light and a clean area to do this correctly." He nodded and she turned to Aella, "Can you walk? Our convoy is just a few blocks back that way."

Just then gunshots broke out nearby. The strike force immediately took cover and brought their weapons up.

Thomas remained still, standing erect with his hands folded behind his back. "Let's see what the trouble is." He said with a soft smile to the team, before stepping over the rubble and moving towards the sound. It was a sight you'd see everyday, a group of soldiers turned inwards watching a one on one struggle of some primitive form. In this case a battle between a male and female, evenly matched it seemed, with a gun at each others head. Thomas's troops were trained to have at least four pairs of eyes looking outwards in case they were to be attacked. The rest took aim on the soldiers, "Gentlemen... Good evening." He said placidly, his eyes wandering about them, taking in their inventory and reaction times. He noticed a few were even drunk. "If you could explain this disturbance, without, without pointing your guns. I'd be very much obliged." Since Thomas's men all had their guns trained on the soldiers, not a single one would be able to shoot except for the man and girl with their guns pointed at each other in the back.

Thomas leaving Aella with the medic, to go across the street and check on the fight between Kris and Eve.

Lovisia

A small portion of her brain wondered about the change in Ashlynn's reaction towards her. At first she seemed very pleased to be rescued by her, and very attracted to her. Now, she was slightly fearful of her...

But that was a small corner of her mind, the rest was focused on their environment, and Ashlynn's words.

"Sounds good enough," she replied quietly to the suggested location.

She paused when Ashlynn wanted to go after Xaphia. She recognized the value in further studying the demon-blooded woman, and Ashlynn's desire to see her safe...but the supersoldier knew that would basically smash any chance she had with Ashlynn. Then again, dragging her away wouldn't help either.

"Ok...but you mustn't mention me. I shouldn't have reveled myself to you, but you were so beautiful I couldn't help my self...I wasn't here to save you. You heard the window shatter, ducked, and someone else shot it in the back. You never saw who shot it. Ok?" she whispered, looking right at the woman.

It sounded like things were getting intense over in the new area of combat.

Lovisia in the building with Ashlynn. After the battle outside.

At the sound of a person calling out to them the remaining men quickly turned to the one who spoke. They never did raise there weapons since the stranger had his own men with him all of them had weapons trained on them.

“ And why should I tell you …this dose not concern you.” One of the military men replied

“ Besides you and your men are not like us” another one replied with a smirk.

“Do you think you can take me on” Kris replied to himself, he didn’t want to not her but if she forced him he would have to.

“ what do you think” Kris asked her, “ watch her movements and disable her” he added to himself

After a few minutes of standing there staring each other down, then they made their move. Kris quickly hit her gun away from his face. She fired several shots each one zooming past his face and into the neighboring building. Eve quickly took her baton and trusted it into the trigger ring and tore the gun from Kris’s hand sending it scurrying to the floor and out the hole in the wall. Taking this chance Kris quickly disarmed Eve and took her gun for his own. But just as he took it he watched as Eve quickly spun around a well placed kick sent the gun out of his hand and onto the ground. Using the motion he got from Eve, Kris spun himself around just as he did decided to place a well aimed kick of his own. But as he did his leg hit a her baton. What happened was impossible even with the armor that kick could send almost any weapon out of their hands.

Both Kris and Eve jumped back from each other, Both could see that each one was skilled, since it just took mere seconds to disarm each other.

“ If I kill you they’ll leave me alone” Eve shouted as she charged him, she quickly brought the Baton down hard onto Kris. Seeing this he quickly brought up his left arm and took the full force of the hit on his arm. Any normal human would have received a broken arm from the attack or they would have lost there arm. Eve then saw it his Pistol in a shoulder holster.

Kris quickly saw what she was doing just as she pulled the gun out Kris quickly dropped the magazine and slid the slide back emptying the chamber. Moving quickly Kris got behind her and went for her back,

“ He’s going for it” Eve replied to herself as she saw him go for the gun behind her back. She quickly turned her body around just as he pulled it out and wrapped her leg around his arm. She quickly turned her body on his hand causing him to drop the gun onto the ground. Eve quickly brought the Baton down onto Kris aiming for his neck. But it never made contact instead she hit something hard. As her eye’s wandered down she saw what she had hit her other baton.

“ You were never going for my gun…Damn you what won’t you just die” Eve replied as she continued to hit the baton over and over again.

“ I’m sorry but I won’t die not yet” Kris said softly. He Kris then flipped Eve into the air with his arm that was still between her legs. He watch as she went flying into the air landing outside of the ground with a loud thud. Kris knew that the fall wouldn’t kill her not with the body armor she was wearing.

“ Fine if you want to end this lets do it them” Kris replied as he walked up to her.
“ So tell me are you going to shoot me too.” Eve asked him as she looked up into the night sky.

“ No I don’t think I will” Kris replied as he tossed the revolver away and raised the baton up

Eve

Eve just laid there looking up at the sky filled stars, they were beautiful she always enjoyed watching the stars. She saw new strangers pointig weapons at her men. It was there own fault for not being alert and for raiding that liquer store the other day.

" The images.....and the voices they will stop once your dead" eve replied softly as she closed her eye's

Eve new that Kris didn't know what she was talking about no one did, most of the people thaught she was crazy. But many figured that it was because she saw Kris kill her brother.

" The dead ones, the ones you killed, they call out for me to kill you" Eve said to Kris as she stood up. A wild and crazy look were in her eye's, her eyes were open big and a evil grin was on her face.

Ashlynn nodded her head slightly at the other woman's words. "Alright," she whispered softly, "Do you think you could find her?" There was no way that she would be able to find her friend on her own and she knew it. She'd been stumbling around for a while before Lovisia had decided to save her, so she couldn't be sure that she would ever be able to find Xaphia.

Lovisia

"Yeah I can find her, piece of cake," and began to follow the half-breed's heat and pheromone trail, going slowly and leading Ashlynn with her hand still held.

When they were at the steps to the level the battle had taken place at, she stopped and listened. Upon hearing nothing she poked her head around the corner, detecting nothing. Going back to Ashlynn, she slid into an embrace around the woman, "If you'd like to get together, just the two of us...just say "Peek-a-boo" when you are alone. If I'm near, I'll hear you. I'll be watching the area, especially you for a while," she caressed the woman's cheek gently with her metal covered hand, wishing sorely to kiss this woman. Instead, she released her, "Your friend is on this floor, five doors down the right, large thick doors. I should warn you though, there is the smell of human blood, not half demon, coming from that direction."

Aella

Aella nodded in approval that the medic remained with the body, the bodies of the dead, especially the faithful dead were to be treated with respect. When Jill arrived and asked if she could walk, the angel simply replied, "I'm on my feet right now, they will go were they need to," she had the pain fully under control, mentally reducing it to a dull ache instead of blinding pain.

When the fighting broke out, the angel had only momentarily considered helping out. There were no demons involved, as far as she could tell, and one that could easily be watching or double back. She would go with Jill, if the woman went to aid a team member, the angel would protect her, but that was it. Aella needed to recover as fast as possible, and be wary of the abomination's return. Jill would probably halve the time it would take her to recover.

Blue smiled as Ayumi cooed an answer in to his lips, he was afraid that their sudden relocation might mean they would have to stop, and when she shed the skimpy top and armour, He just went speechless, the attraction clear in his eyes as he gazed lovingly at her large and beautiful breasts. he was about to reach out and touch them, to explore every inch of the flesh with his fingers and commit it to memory, but she pulled away and crawled off the bed before he could, coaxing a low whine of displeasure from him as she did.

she more than made up for it though, her tiny thong going the same way as her top, the image of her naked before him bringing him up to his knees on the edge of the bed, his jacket already discarded and his shirt half unzipped by the time she was crawling back on to the bed with him, her hands quickly pealing it and his weapon belt off him, leaving him in just his pants when she growled out her question, his literally sculpted abs and chest on display.

his hands answered before he could, leaving the waist of his pants and pulling her in closer, his lips fluttering across her neck and slowly up to her ear "no" he said with a smirk before pulling back to look her in the eyes "i haven't been sure about anything since i realised you were like me" his eyes closed as he planted a tender kiss on her lips that seemed to last forever, his mouth staying a hairs breadth away from hers even when he pulled away "why would now be any different?" he lingered there for a second or two, just enjoying the closeness, then pulled away himself, moving back off the bed and quickly doing away with his pants before eagerly returning to her.

Blue and Ayumi, getting it on in the builing next to where the first fight started

*************************************************

Xaphia lucked out, the men either ignored her or didn't hear her at all, not only that, but they didn't hang around long, all of them heading outside and leaving her alone in the big room filled with broken furniture and a bunch of book shelves all filled with books... Xaphia liked books, she liked all the knowledge they held, all the secrets, and there had been so few in the vault she grew up, so she decided to have a quick look around before leaving to find Ashlynn and get the hell away from there.

Most of the books were damaged in some way, burned, stained, torn, aged, but there were a few gems hidden in among the crap, one book on weapons manufacture, one graphic novel about some crazy people called 'Jedi', whatever that meant, a cook book, and after a while she found a stash of gear from some earlier squatter, a diary, some marked maps and Xaphia's personal favorite find, 2 impeccably preserved porn magazines. she found a belt in a pile of random items and tied all her finds together bar one, then dropped it, deftly catching it with her tail and hiding it away behind her greatcoat.

She smiled to herself and opened the magazine she left out of her bundle, her body warming at the sight of the blond in the centerfold, dressed in exaggerated Victorian style, a patch of black between her legs showing she died her hair. there had only ever been two magazines like that in the vault, and neither were so explicit in what they left uncovered, Xaphia was definitely pleased with her find, she wouldnt be bored tonight, though she woindered how she would get some privacy if she did catch up with Ashlynn.

Xaphia, in the large room with the books

Ashlynn's eyes moved to where the other woman stood as she was pulled into her embrace. "Peek-a-boo, got it," she whispered with a silly little smile on her face, "Let me know before you move on." It was a small enough request, but for her it was a pretty big thing for her to ask for. She'd made an effort to not grow attached to anyone since leaving her home but she couldn't seem to help it lately.

"Thank you." When she was finally released, Ashlynn stumbled slightly and started off in the direction she'd been pointed in. It didn't take her long to reach the book filled room. The smell of blood was strong, but she ignored it as she moved deeper into the room and spotted Xaphia.

She smiled brightly and moved forward in a rush at the sight of the other girl, barely noticing what she was reading. As she came closer, she realized what her new friend was looking at and came to a stop, wondering if she should turn around and leave the girl to her own devices.

Lovisia

The invisible hand ran through her hair, "Very little could prevent me from saying farewell and seeing those marvelous blue eyes one more time...."

After several long moments, the supersoldier reluctantly released the woman. It was as if she could almost feel the woman's body against her armor...and extremely frustrating that she couldn't.

"You are welcome," she replied as Ashlynn began to move toward the indicated door. Lovisia followed, silently as ever. She was going to make sure nothing happened to Ashlynn before she left to inspect the ruckus outside.

God was it frustrating not to ravish Ashlynn, or at least let her ravish her.

Thomas simply raised his eyebrows at the fight in front of him. Unless he himself was going crazy, these two idiots were beyond cuckoo. Rather then get in between two lunatics and play sheriff he decided to let them duke it out. He was more worried about the soldiers though, so he carefully lowered both hands to his side. With the smallest, barely perceptible movement he activated the slinging holster in his right hand, with the standard 9mm hollow points. The gun sprung into his grip, and he raised it calmly towards the head of the nearest soldiers. The hot iron turned the man's sweat cold, and his face into stone from the drunken smile it wore earlier.

Instead of addressing the two combatants, he turned to the soldiers and whispered into his face, "If you and your crew want to live. You'll leave your bosses to finish on their own. I'd also recommend shacking up for tonight." The frightened soldier nodded and motioned the men to leave, they headed away from where the convoy was parked, to Thomas's relief.

"Not you." The soldier with the gun to his head was obviously some sort of Lieutenant, a second in command. "You're going to stay here, and brief my men about your current situation and anything else you know about this area. If you, your bosses, or your men get cute. You'll be dead in ten seconds. Got it?"

"Strike will remain here. Scout will come with me back to base. Let's move."

Thomas with Aella near Kris and Elle. Leaving.

-----

Today had been a busy day, Thomas reflected as he, Aella, Jill, and the rest of Scout headed back towards the department store. So far things had been successful, no deaths, no injuries except for his pride and Aella's wing. Things were good. Still, he had an itch that hadn't been scratched... Well more then one, violence or the lack therof could be satisfied by other means, sex, perhaps Jill... Then Thomas remembered Aella's wing and frowned. She would be busy.

As they passed a darkened street, Thomas's advanced sense of hearing picked up the faintest sounds of voices. A woman's voice, slightly unnerved, but it had a strange... Purr, to it. "I'm going to go back to Strike, I want to get one of the DVR's." Thomas stated, before turning on his heel and heading back.

Jill shrugged and smiled to Aella, "He's like that, don't worry. Let's get you fixed up." As they passed the body of the dead human, it was obvious to see that Jill had used her time to carefully move the woman into a body bag. Turning to Aella she explained, "We bring all the bodies we can with us back to one of the settlements we help protect. They ID and catalog each body. I'm not entirely sure why, but I suppose they're trying their best to make some sense of all this."

Together Scout carried the body bag back to the convoy, and moved towards a humvee as Jill took Aella to her makeshift station. It was a brightly lit tent, clean, and filled with medical supplies. "Hop up on the table, I'll get the doctor and we'll get working on this right away, mkay?"

----

Thomas slipped between two pieces of rubble, and found what he was looking for. A girl. She wasn't alone, she was talking to someone or something that only let a small part of it's head show in the light. Frowning, Thomas moved a bit closer. He was on the second floor of a building overlooking the corner, most of the second floor was rubble, save for a few strangely standing walls.

Silently he took two, or three steps back from the half wall that was still in place. Swiftly he took them back and leaped over the wall, he landed in a roll behind the two people, one of whom had a tail, both his weapons were in his hands. One pointed at each of them, the special bullets pointed towards the one in the shadow, since he wasn't sure if that was human or not, "What are the two of you doing out here?" He demanded softly, his eyes flickering from between the two.

Thomas confronting Marlena.

Dammit all, what was with all these men? First one, laughing at her from the shadows and now another that sounded vaguely familiar as he questioned her. Well, she was not having it. Marlina widened her stance and pointed her guns at both of them.

"How about you tell me, who you are and what that racket was or we are gonna have one hell of a mess to clean up." she said quietly.

Marlina demanding an answer from both Malioscious(?) and Thomas.
