I got these two yesterday.

Who else is an castlevania fan? :3

I should warn you, participation in this thread is directly related to how cool this forum is.

I was so hooked on Castlevania when it first came out on the original Nintendo. One of my first BDSM-like fantasies around age 10 or so was to have a vampire come and possess me. Now how cool is that? I no longer have time for such things, games that is. I always make time for fantasies. Have fun with your newesr editions.

Don't worry, you still get points ^_^

I'm terrible, I have not played any of the Castlevania games before SNES...

Oh yah, NES all the way. There is just something about a hero that uses a whip as his main weapon.

-Now- I'm just waiting for the "Hidden Meanings in Castlevania" thread to pop up! ^_^

That's OK, I've ONLY played the NES Castlevania games. Have you seen the "Angry Nintendo Nerd" on youtube, Aeroil? He utterly rips up Castlevania II. Hi-with-a-long-I-larious. Here ya go!

Not to hijack but I'm about 120 hours into FFXII so new games are a little beyond my geeky multitaskability. How is it thus far?
FFXII? I likes it. I don't think the new battle system is perfect but it's an excellent idea, and the difficulty level means that I'm not able to breeze through, which is sweet.

Story is good, thus far, but I've not really gotten into much... Not very reveal-y right off the bat, for sure.

It might be a bastard stepchild in the series...but Bloodlines was my favorite.
:D
