Porno DVD'S ( A Question)

Hi all,

As you can see ive never posted before but have been a member for sometime.
I am located in the UK and have a question to the UK residence.

Myself and my wife are quite in to the odd porno movie (the wife more than me can you belive)and having just brought a new DVD player am interested in getting some porn on DVD.
The problem is the stuff i have ordered and recived has been quite laim, you know the stuff not seeing the full detail, if you get my drift.

So this is a plea for some web site links for some decent DVD porn.

They've been pretty fair about their reviews on porn on DVDs. They've also got customer ratings which can also be a fair assessment of things and the thing I like the most are the screenshots of each movie to at least give you an idea as to the action in the flick. Heaven knows you can't go off of the cover photography!

They've also got a huge variety as well as a decent toy section too. Have fun!

They're the best website on the Planet for DVD's I swear. Based in Jersey in the English Channel with no Tax and free delivery it's so cheap to buy from there for any DVD you want.

I bought a DVD from there, it was in the sale and it was utter shite. It was just some random one I chose for the sake of seeing what it would be like. However, they have loads of titles which are probably good so it's worth checking out.

Rog gives really good descriptions for every movie he reviews. Almost like a "play by play" sort of thing. Very no-nonsense. He even describes how the money shot is delivered. His rating system is also pretty descriptive, and he usually provides details about where to purchase the particular movie. I hope this helps...

You can search movies using all sorts of parameters, and it links to reviews of the movies on AdultDVDReviews and other sites. One of the most impressive legacies of the old alt.sex.movies and especially rec.arts.movies.erotica USENET groups.

Also, the movie description links to several retailers so you can find the best price...however, I think that most of the vendors are U.S.-based.

BTW, my local Tower Records has an adult section with a special bin of adult DVDs under 20 bucks...definitely lower in quality but a pretty good deal. I really have not found an adult DVD worth paying $35+ for as some of the Vivid releases are priced.

The UK has only recently been allowed to stock 'proper' hardcore adult movies.

Basically if you go into a shop, the 'softcore' ones will be in the "100 films for £5" bin because no-one will buy them anymore

OK, moving on from the original question a little are dealers in the UK now actually allowed to stock and sell unedited hardcore movies? Has the law recently changed?

If not, has anybody had experience of ordering from the US or Europe (and were HM Customs particularly interested?)

Somebody suggested play.com in an earlier reply - are their DVDs original, or edited softcore versions?

Sorry to have so many questions, but previous draconian cencorship laws in the UK has meant it's difficult to get decent porn for those of us who just want to spice up our lovelife a little (and also I've just met a girl who's really into the idea of porn, but we don't know where to get it - Help!!)
