That's why I knew immediately who she was (that plus the fact I was just watching one of her flicks last night) even though the date started with her claiming she was a "student".

And the guy she was with was a total square. A nice guy, just a little slow on the uptake. She got things going fast by saying she enjoyed having sex. Then she admitted to liking being with women. She said she liked to have a few drinks then get a little freaky -- this while she sipped on her straw and ran her tongue around the tip of it in a suggestive manner. By this time the poor guy was like a deer caught in the headlights.

Then she started complimenting his physique and rubbing his chest. No later than ten seconds after, her hand was in his pants. Then she kissed him, all sloppy wet tongue mind you. The guy was still being a little squeamish though, so she decided to turn up the heat. These shows are scripted up to a point -- I actually know people who have appeared on Elimidate and they say that there is a template you have to follow and a lot of the apparent spontenaity isn't genuine. But for the most part these are real people on real dates.

As far as Obsession is concerned, she did a good job playing the role of a starving college student but I suspect she was probably on some kind of comical recruiting mission. I won't be suprised if I see her "date" starring in a few movies of his own sometime soon.

Or maybe she really was interested in dating some square guy unassociated with the business. I wasn't buying her sexpot act though. Porn stars don't really behave that way when they're off the clock.

I was just suprised at seeing Obsession make an appearance since she's been in the biz for years and has no need for any other kinds of exposure. That's why I suspect it was some kind of gag.

The people I knew who appeared on Elimidate were all actors. They did it for the publicity of course.

They use lots of models too. I went to one of those model search things not too long ago and the scouts said I'd be perfect for Blind Date and put me in touch with the producers. I never followed up on it though. Maybe I should have. I might have been the one to go out with Obsession. And believe me, if that had happened there would certainly have been an uncensored Blind Date tape worth watching.
