I have consumed a decent amount of porn from several sources and there is a theme that I am curious to discuss.

It is my observation that there is a huge emphasis on women being noisy, making facial expressions, and in general their pleasure being amplified and over the top in heterosexual porn. Okay, I get it, it’s acting so not meant to be realistic. On the other hand, men seem to stay pretty quiet and not really express their pleasure or make noise or outwardly show that they are enjoying themselves. Why is this? I have a few theories and am ideas, but I’m also curious about other perspectives.

I think most porn is geared toward male consumers, so that explains the emphasis on highlighting female pleasure. But do men not also respond to the bigger picture? Do men not resonate with the expression of pleasure that they are trying to also achieve?

Great question. I confess that my favorite porn is female masturbation so am very focused on how a woman expresses her desire and pleasure as she moves towards orgasm. I am most excited by soft groans and whimpering rather than very loud vocalising. I also adore voicing with a woman and am hugely excited by the sound she makes as we masturbate together.

Sure, sometimes it can get a bit noisy and vocal.

I agree and have seen very few scenes where the man's passion is up and he is acting on it. Actually there are also not many women that display the kind of animalistic behavior that turns me on. I need to see and feel the passion, the desire, and I want to be convinced they are feeling super turned on... Most of it is just sport fucking.... Yawn...

1) I think that there is a supply and demand problem when it comes to sex in adolescent males. This results in a lot of masturbation. It's something that you don't want to be discovered doing, as it could lead to ridicule, punishment, and prohibition. So you learn to be silent. There's no need to show praise and appreciation to your hand. Even when you are having sex it's probably secretive, and loud vocalizations are incompatible with secretive and discrete. 2) I think it's usually easier for a woman to tell when a man climaxes during sex than it is for a man to tell when a woman orgasms, so there's little need for that positive re-enforcement.

I never self analyzed or video taped myself. I don’t get wordy for the most part. I might show approval while getting a blowjob. I make some small noise when I cum. And on certain days when the orgasm is intense I can be known to let out a word or two and make a face and shake.
For me I prefer the porn of woman masturbating having real orgasms. There is many but not an over abundance of it either. I am starting to see repeats of the same videos.

Most porn is targeting the straight male consumer anyway. In many cases now, the male in the scene is hardly pictured. There's a lot of POV porn where we see little more than the dick. I think if you do a search on your favorite provider for 'porn for women' you'll find more moaning men.

Personally, my wife has always encouraged me to moan loudly for her during sex. We both love it.

I swear a lot as I near orgasm.
But often times I let strength and physical excursion speak for me.

I prefer positions with both partners kissing, licking, and sucking more than talking. That sounds better than "oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck yeah make that pussy cum."

I think the lack of male sounds in MF porn that is geared at men is so that they can imagine themselves in the spot. If they hear another man, they are reminded it's not them plowing the women on the screen.
I like Mr porn where the man is vocal. I am either imagining he is plowing my wife or me.
