I have consumed a decent amount of porn from several sources and there is a theme that I am curious to discuss.
It is my observation that there is a huge emphasis on women being noisy, making facial expressions, and in general their pleasure being amplified and over the top in heterosexual porn. Okay, I get it, it’s acting so not meant to be realistic. On the other hand, men seem to stay pretty quiet and not really express their pleasure or make noise or outwardly show that they are enjoying themselves. Why is this? I have a few theories and am ideas, but I’m also curious about other perspectives.
I think most porn is geared toward male consumers, so that explains the emphasis on highlighting female pleasure. But do men not also respond to the bigger picture? Do men not resonate with the expression of pleasure that they are trying to also achieve?
