Living Out Loud...?
I think the scene I'm thinking of was from that movie...Holly Hunter as some high-powered business woman or reporter or something...goes into her hotel room in a town somewhere. (This is how the movie starts I think...)
She sits on the bed, takes the phone off the hook, removes her glasses, takes of her suit jacket and lays it gently down, tugs open her collar, lays her hands on her lap...
Then proceeds for about 3 seconds to SOB and make the most horrible expressions and sounds of utter misery.
Then she stops as suddenly as she started...buttons up, puts jacket back on, puts phone on hook, looks at newspaper briefly, sighs, wipes face, grabs purse and case...and zooms out the door to the public eye.
It was hilarious and tragic and utterly familiar...
Anyone else ever have moments like these? Well...there are just a couple women who post in here...maybe I'll post this elsewhere also.
It's times like THAT ^^^ though that make us human and lovable and alike and vulnerable and STRONG and so amazing. Why do we pretend so hard to be otherwise so much? Why do we think such things make us look crazy/insane?
I don't know....human nature is to be ashamed of our humanity mostly and that is a sorry thing...
