Some of my relatives left Ireland during the potato famine so I'll be wearing an emerald green dress.

I once worked for a firm that every St. Patrick's Day (that was on a week day) when the Irish pub opened across the road, we all went across the street for a beer on the company. Was interesting drinking beer at 11 a.m. Nice perk, eh?
