I was such a little minx. Had boys on the brain just about 24/7. Still do, 'mafraid.

Hey, it's multiple choice for the poll. But the post description should try to be a one-word summary. For all my minxness I was pretty geeky, too, into avant garde music and computers long before the advent of PCs. I really was a strange kid. But a boy-crazy one, primarily.

I picked geeky, though I think that shy and awkward might have applied as well.

It was the late 80's, so I had the bad perm thing going on. The glasses (bifocals, no less) that made me look like an owl, pre-braces teeth, and total disinterest in clothes sure didn't help.

I grew out of that phase, though.

I replied "sumthin' else" because I was a student of the subject but not a practitioner. Masters and Johnson released their first major book On Human Sexual Response only a year or so later, at which point I became geeky about sex because I studied it relentlessly from cover to cover. About the same time I discovered my father's major stash of back issues of Playboy and began my life's work of memorizing all the "vital statistics" of all the Playmates of the Month.

At age 13, I was very mature; I had to deal with grown-up issues like paying the electric bill and buying groceries.

I find it a little weird that the poll is asking for a how-you-were-sexually-at-age-13.

I mean, thirteen wasn't that long ago that I can't remember that yeah, you're beginning to have sexual thoughts and feelings - and sure, some people probably began being sexually active then.

But, why do you want to know how people were sexually at age thirteen?

It's interesting that our lives have all intersected here at this time and place, so I guess I'm just interested to know where everyone has come from, sexually-speaking. I didn't mean to come off creepy.

Some of us were shy, some were pretty mature. As I said in my kickoff post, I was boy-crazy at that age -- actually way before. Not everyone was.

LOL! That's me as well. Ever the scientist, I read everything I could get my hands on. I used to keep track of all the girls in my class who I thought had "done it." I watched, listened and daydreamed about sex constantly.

At 13 I was regularly sneaking in to my parents room and reading their porn magazines - I got caught masturbating by my mum! 23 years on and I am still embarassed but we have never discussed it!
