One dude belonging to a party that prides itself on upholding "state's rights" is now petitioning the federal supreme court to try to overrule a state's supreme court's ruling.

No kidding. I guess state's rights only matter so long as the state's laws help you get elected. If they don't, then you run to the dreaded Big Government for help. lol

The converse is true here too. The Democrats are suddenly sounding like George Wallace railing against the U.S. National Guard sent in to desegrate Alabama's public schools.

This is a dual flip-flop born of political expedience for both parties. It's about winning more than principles.
