Pokerman

first you need to post it to lit in a thread....then reference it in your sig line.

So post the pic here in this thread using the upload feature. then right click on the pic to open it in a new window. This also gives you the url of the pic. Copy that url and post it into your signature.

For example....i uploaded the boxers pic to a thread a while ago....the url where that pic is saved is

http: //www.literotica.com/forum/attachment.php?s=&postid=749009

then in my sig i added:

<img src=http ://www.literotica.com/forum/attachment.php?s=&postid=749009>

does all that make sense?

(also remember not to include the space i put in between the http and the :// I just put that there so the url would appear as text and not a link...)

Ok, so here's another stupid question... when i resize animated gifs, they either look all kooky like the one that's my av right now, or they lose their animation... i'm usin photoshop... any ideas?

(don't tell the people that pay me to be a graphic designer that i can't figure this shit out, ok?)

Sorry.....i can help ya with the html, after that I'd say ask a graphic designer ;)

I don't really know how to explain it. but you have to open it as an animated giff then when you resize it make sure ever one of the images are being resized. when you save it make sure the animated gif is still selected. and with all pictures makeing smaller is okay makeing larger is hard as hell casue you are loosing resilution. so are you enlargeing or shrinking?

I'm not good with words. I can show people how to do stuff but always loos what i'm saying when telling them.

If want i said makes sence YAY me. and cudos to you for understanding my ramblings. if not. I could try and resize it for you.

shrinking... which is why i can't figure out why the resolution is all screwy. the av i had up there the past few days didn't lose resolution, just lost it's animation. this av is losing everything. :(

then get your booty over here and show me darlin

i may just let you do that. do you want the link to the gif?

sure post the link and i'll see if i can fix it up for you.

God knows i have nothing better to do :)

PCG, I'm a graphic artist, but I must say, I've NEVER tried to resize an animated gif. Not sure if they can be done or not, but I'll give it a try, as I also work in Photoshop and Imageready.

I'll get back with you on this...

here's the link to the image... any help y'all can give would be great.

ummm... i got the resolution problem straightened out by saving the silly thing as a jpeg... but that obviously screws with the animation...

i'm just too demanding aren't i? :p

I find this very strange, i d/loaded the image, and it won't animate on my computer. not in adobe. but when i veiw it in a veiwing program like acdsee it works.

I'll keep trying though. Odd, i've never had this problem

OOOkay there did it. I knew i took a CorelDRAW class for something. What adobe can't do corel can and vice versa.

Thanks you two!

I haven't used corelDRAW since I think '92 or '93... am I to understand that it doesn't still suck? ;)

and sorry i didn't use CorelDRAW i use that to make cartoons. I used Corel Photopaint to fix the image.
