Plugging someone else's story

I am pimping out anything by my grasshopper Captain Midnight. Yeah, that bright blinding green line in my sig line? Click it and choose your poison. He's fun :D

I'm plugging LonelyMom's story Back In Your Arms Again.

It's a sweet little story. I edited it for her. I feel she has a lot of talent and any encouragement she gets is all to the good.

Thanks.

I don't normally get involved in threads like this but here I go...

Here are three of my current favorites, in no particular order, and all are contest submissions...

Thirteen Years by Munachi. This story reminded me of when I used to read Tales From the Crypt.

An End to Indian Summer by i_love_u_in_me. This piece is just plain chilling, I'm glad that I read it during the day, otherwise, I may have had to sleep with the lights on.

Pumpkin Eater by Selenakittyn. Again Selena shows us why she is one of the best writers on this site. I found myself holding my breath as the tension built through the story.

Today's Pimpage:

Ken Nitsua

When I get stuck on Ties That Bind I go read his stuff- it helps me over the hump. (No pun intended)

Dampy, Falling, I love you both, but damn I hate these revived threads.

It's my fault, part of my thing about losing friends and saying goodbyes, I suppose. What happens is I wander onto a thread like this one, notice the topic, who's posting and what they have to say, but don't pay any attention to the date. Then, wham, there's a post by Colly, this one from back in 2005, and what's left of the old brain skids out of control. A similar thing happens if I stumble across a post by MathGirl.

Please don't feel bad or think I'm fussing. While everyone who knew Colly misses her, I suspect my reaction is a unique by-product of some personal baggage. What I'm doing is more like sharing, verntilating, trying to get it out of my system, whatever. Besides, maybe now I'll finally begin to check the dates.

Rumple

On the other hand, relatively new members may find stories they wouldn't have had a poster decided to start a new thread instead. :)

I couldn't resist singing some praises for Munachi's Agnus Dei .

I normally don't read the Incest Category, but this story isn't what you'd normally expect in that genre. This is a poignant and well told story that I'd recommend. (Be warned, Munachi has yet to learn how to write a happy ending  ... but she does heartwrenching quite well).

BTW ... this was a hard thread to find. We should be plugging stories more often.
