I'm pretty new to the writing side of this website, and I could use some help. I'm writing a story that I want to break up into two parts. In part one I've come to a spot that I feel like is a good place to start a new chapter, but I still want it to be in part one of this series. So basically I'm asking how to post multiple chapter stories. Sorry if what I'm asking doesn't make sense I'm very bad at technology, and thanks in advance for any help.

You can submit them as two or more parts by using EXACTLY the same title followed by Ch.01, Ch.02 (or Part 01, Part 02) etc.

Like this:

My Story Part.01
My Story Part.02
My Story Part.03

You can add more after the Part number like this:

My Story Part.01 They meet
My Story Part.02 They quarrel
My Story Part.03 They make up - in bed...

But it is essential that the first part of the title and the chapter or part numbering is exactly the same including spacing and capitalisation.

This WON'T work:

My story Part.01
My Story part.02
My Story Part,03

So if I submit it as my story ch. 01 the ch. 02 they will be in the same story? Like when you go to the bottom of a story and you hit the little box that has the number of chapters the story contains? The I submit part two as my story part. 02?

The box at the end of the first page of a Literotica story shows the number of pages, not the chapters, which can go on and on.

They will be listed in your submissions consecutively.

This is an extract from my submission list. You can see it better if you click on my stories link in my signature.

Brobdingnag: 6 Part Series
Brobdingnag Ch. 01 (4.40) Gulliver's unexpurgated travels. Novels and Novellas 01/04/04
Brobdingnag Ch. 02 (4.42) Gulliver's unexpurgated travels. Novels and Novellas 01/12/04
Brobdingnag Ch. 03 (4.50) Gulliver's unexpurgated travels Hot Novels and Novellas 01/13/04
Brobdingnag Ch. 04 (4.47) Gulliver's unexpurgated travels. Novels and Novellas 01/14/04
Brobdingnag Ch. 05 (4.47) Gulliver's unexpurgated travels. Novels and Novellas 01/19/04
Brobdingnag Ch. 06 and Last (4.24) Gulliver's Unexpurgated Travels. Novels and Novellas 04/30/09

Note: I suggested 01., 02., etc because that allows up to 99 chapters in order. If you don't number 01, but 1, chapter 11 will appear after 1 and before 2 like this for a 12 chapter story:

My story Ch.1
My story Ch.11
My story Ch.12
My story Ch.3, 4, 5 etc

You don't have to physically split the story into separate parts. You could write the whole story as one piece and just put a Chapter number in the text.

Ok. I understand what I want now. How do a break my story up into different pages? Does it break up automatically after a certain number of words or can I choose where to start a new page. And thank you for helping me.

The system breaks into Literotica pages automatically. When that is depends on the number of words, and spacing/paragraphing.

Edited: I just checked with one of my stories. A Literotica page is about 3,500 to 3,800 words.

So there is no way I can choose where the page begins or ends?

No. When you preview your story before hitting the "Submit" button you have an indication. The only way you can change the Lit page change is by adding or subtracting substantial parts of the text.

It has annoyed me in the past when a story ran a couple of sentences into the second Lit page. I had to take out about 200 words to make it a one-Lit page story.
