It appears that you have the same problem that I do. The current location threads are, shall we say, not the most newbie friendly. Maybe that would the be the thread to start.

Sounds like a great idea! I've been here for like a week and I still dunno what I'm doing and all.

Dont get me wrong everyone has been really nice and friendly and its not like they've ignored me or anything but its kinda hard to just 'jump right in and start posting' as some have suggested since most posts are allready in like thier 800th page and everyone talks to the same people and when you finally start chatting with someone, its on a thread that wasn't ment for talking eg a game or personal/request thread. The game threads are pretty good cos anyone can join in and not feel left out but its not what I was hoping for

unfortunately, you are somewhat correct. there are some trolls around. but, most here are nice and newbie friendly.

I think I 've seen newbie threads before. Go for it, have fun!
