I can be somewhat pretentious and anal, but those same qualities also make me pay attention to detail and very romantic.

I stopped caring, in a lot of ways, about what people thought a few years ago. I am single. Women aren't spending time with me.

So ...

WTF should I care what they want? If I am not worth spending time with, I'll be the best me I can be. They don't like it, fine. I am not going to be "their" man. I don't ask a woman to change for me, why should she expect me to do otherwise?

The old routine on the way to work... pick up a lemon bismark, a white frosted cream stick and a plain doughnut. That and coffee is the way to travel to work. Oh, yeah.

Being 'made' or changed is something you want to do, not something another person can do. Change happens from within.

Being happy isn't dependant upon someone else. That comes from within one's self. Being with someone else is someone to share it with.

I'm not one of those people that don't care what people think of me. I used to think I wanted to be .....but in all honesty, I don't. I do care if I've hurt feelings or if someone has perceived me as rude. I stand firm in my beliefs, but I try to do that in a respectful way to everyone. I care that people see me for what and who I am.....on the inside.....even though most never look past the outside. Sometimes it hurts....sometimes it doesn't. Both have their place in my life. And unless someone is just being hurtful to those around me, I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion about anything and that I don't have a need to express mine all the time without being asked. There's a time and a place for everything. IMHO of course. lol

honesty is something that I demand from my man... I'd never ask anyone to change for me... why would someone do that? They're asking the other person to change what attracted them to them in the first place. Doesn't make any sense...
