We brought her home from the hospital around 1 pm...everything looks very good so far and she is getting loads of attention and visitors like grandma and gramps and the neighbors.

She is a little uncomfortable but is still being brave...we have tylenol w/codeine but I have not had to give her any as she is having no pain that she is reporting...mostly it is just the fact that she can't get comfy. I'll give her a dose soon though in case she is being too brave.

She must be feeling a little like her self because she is bossing her brother around.

My granddaughter would never admit that her arm was hurting, but she would get angry and stay angry until somone force fed her a pain-killer.

At this stage, I think the anger is probably normal dissappoinment at missing out on things, but keep an eye on her for signs of redirecting pain into anger too much.

Nah, it's not something that she got from her genes, it's just part of being a kid -- I think its in the rule book.

Seriouly, I don't know that your kid will do that, but I thought you should be aware that it's not an uncommon reaction.
