I plan on taking one week off late May Early june and I need some good ideas of a city to vivit. I plan on seeing one city or two at most so I have time to see all it offers.

Where should I go? Whats to see?

NYC, of course! Do you need to even ask what to see? If you decide to come to NY, let me know- maybe we could meet up. :)

I Hear That Chicago Is Really Great!

Lotsa Art, Lottsa Wonderful Food And The City Is Very Friendly:D

New Orleans Would Be A Dream I Bet!

Why Ya Going Out Ta The States When You Could Stay Here In The Great White North And See New Stuff And Folk?

Thunder Bay Is Really FUN! Honest:)

I liked Atlanta when I was there on a business trip. It is a bigger city without the big city feel - people were generally quite friendly and I didn't feel like I had to check to see if my wallet was there every 10 minutes.

Ive been to Chicago many times. Lovely city.

New York is at the top of my list, but so far its just a list.

The nice thing about the North East coast is that you can see so many great cities so close together. You can start in Boston, head on down to New York, work your way to Philadelphia, and finish up in Washington DC. Nowhere else in the States will you find that many of the greatest cities so close together (and, no, Dallas-Fort Worth doesn't count, you wacky Texans).

I was planning to go to Toronto in May, my first choice would have been the USA but with the rate exchange I think I will stay in Canada. Any nice places to visit near Toronto Pheonyx? Everyone told me that Toronto is boring, is that true?

Try Pheonix, Pheonyx!

I like Toronto! Lots of shows, interesting shops! Call me I'll meet you there!;)

San Antonio

San Antonio is awesome but I am partial to NYC. Not only is it a great place, but it also has sexy women like minx there

Pheonyx,

Wherever you go, you should come into New York State and do lunch with me.....

;)

Alex Bay is lovely that time of year!

I will keep that in mind, Like I said it wont happen untill Late may. company I work at is going through a major reoganization right now. Im keeping my job but we are reorginizaing divisions and switching buildings.

Big cities like the ones posted so far are nice, but if you're looking for something that's totally different, and unlike anything you've seen before (except maybe in pictures), I'd go for Sedona, in Arizona. Some of my fondest childhood memories are from there, and since it's in the middle of the state (I believe), it shouldn't be very hot like Southern Arizona would be at that time of year. It's gorgeous desert, with beautiful red rocks all around, and it's got a nice, secluded, small-town feel to it. I wish I could go there, myself! :D

This is by far one of the best ideas yet. It's like no other place on earth, certainly nothing you'll ever see in or near where you're from.

There are only 3 cities in the U.S. that are worth seeing: NY, SF,
NO--though not necessarily in that order.

The rest of 'em are all the fucking same and have too many damned americans in 'em.
