Time to start a new day, time to go to work. This has turned out to be a beautiful heartwarming and soul affirming thread, it has been exactly what it was supposed to be and I didn't realise that when I created it. It's what families do, even if your scattered thousands of miles apart. She was a huge part of that for a lot of us and it has been wonderful reading and feeling it on here.

So, I'll be perfectly honest. I don't really chat much on here. I'm pretty much here to chat with Nebs. She was a huge fan of my writing and we became friends because of that. She helped to bring me out of a very dark period in my life and I'll never be able to thank her enough for that.

She was a beautiful person inside and out and I genuinely feel the world is dimmer without her.

Hugs to everyone going through the same thing. I know how much she enjoyed being on here and how much she loved you all.

Nebs wasn’t a daily poster in my song challenge, but she usually stopped by when she was around. I was inspired by the clip of her playing guitar to go back through the challenge and compile her additions into a playlist. (I also included songs that she replied with enthusiastic love for)

Additionally, I found a post from her that I hadn’t seen when it was posted. She was talking about seeing Weezer at the Palladium. Iykyk. I so wish I would have seen that post and chatted with her about it.

For the prompt “A song that reminds me of myself,” Nebs posted Modest Mouse - Float On. She added “maybe it’s a song I must remind myself of on a frequent basis.”

I just laid down and turned Pandora on. I had left off trying to train a Billy Joel station, which the other day, had played exactly 35 non-Billy Joel songs in a row, then 1 Billy Joel song, and then 30 more non-Billy Joel songs before I gave up. When I turned it back on just now, the first song it played was #30 on the list above, The Longest Time. I know I’ve posted this video before in other threads, but this one is for Nebs
