This is terrible news. We were friends and talked frequently. She was so easy to befriend and get along with. Just a cool, fun, pure soul. I'll always miss her.

I still can't believe I had to make this thread, can't believe I won't be looking for her or what she was gonna send me next, picture or positive words. She shared ADHD stories with me after I was diagnosed, she helped pick me up of the floor many times, I saw her joy and enthusiasm spread whre she went, the reactions when she appeared, her love for life and those in her life. I find myself crying again right now that ill never get another message from her or anything personal again, never get to feel her presence on this board..

Lit is certainly dimmer today but all of us who were even briefly in Nebber’s presence have been brightened by her.
She was, make that, IS! a fun, intelligent, sexy, adventurous, sympathetic, empathetic, whack-a-doodle soul who’s wondrous light made us all better people.
And this went beyond Lit, as those of us who
were lucky to have known some of her in real life, she cheered up her personal world too.
I used to tease her about her bizarre (but cool) name and how Planetary Nebula was not fitting a moniker for the amount of people that cherished her. So she reluctantly let me call her Stardust.
And now her stardust is bouncing around the cosmos making the gods that may be laugh, think, cringe, and yes, I’m sure, she’s already flashed some of them.

After wallowing in my own funk for a bit, I decided to do a deep dive on all the PMs b/t Nebs and I. As I did so, I began to realize something --- Nebs would not have wanted us to mourn her, she would want to be celebrated.
Seeing the classic Nebs "I don't wanna" gif and nebzilla made me realize that there was soooo much joy she brought to us. I think we should remember that.
Like @Saltfountain , I'm going to share a little bit of Nebs too. This is from a little over a year ago and was only sent after much begging, whining, pleading and promises. She had recently taken up the guitar and I had to hear her play. So here is Nebs with the opening riff to (appropriately) Tom Petty's Mary Jane's Last Dance

The best thing about Nebs, other than her humour, her messages, her pics...
Was that she was everyone's friend. I never once saw her involved in any drama. Never once saw her be angry, or passive aggressive, or even snarky. If she liked you, she liked you. Full stop.
I loved the way she'd write someone's name in bold capitals if she hadn't seen them in a while, making her joy obvious for everyone to see.
I loved how she made sure everyone was included with whatever was going on. As an awkward introvert I am especially grateful for that one.
Her enthusiasm and positivity really was infectious and I'd like to honour her in trying to carry some of that energy forwards with me.
