New Orleans (unless it has stopped smelling like urine)
New Orleans is one of my favorite cities in the world. Beautiful city with some of the best food and music you will ever find. Yes certain parts of the party district/Bourbon St smell like piss but that is true of a lot of cities. I encourage you to revisit. Go to the Garden District or walk down Magazine. Next time stay at the Monteleone. Cheers!

Big European cities during the summer

I’m on the tail end of doing a bunch of them, it is busy but lovely. The only one that I found toooo much was Amsterdam.
I agree that they’re still lovely for sure. I was just visiting a few last month 😂

The level of crowds can make them a totally different experience compared to off season though. So if at all possible, I’d love to save the bigger cities for the fall, winter, or spring. But Europe is still pretty fantastic even at it’s worst :D

I’ve travelled a lot in all seasons, for me big cities are big cities in general. 🤷🏻‍♀️ The smaller places are where the real charm lies for me.
