A couple of guys at work we're telling me yesterday that the people from "Girls Gone Wild" we're gonna be at a bar here in the 'Burgh doing some "Girls Gone Wild" kinda things. I was pretty skeptical at first, cause I mean the idea of Pittsburgh Girls Going Wild is kinda iffy to begin with. Just how freaky can you get in a babushka?

But the Guys told me they were gonna go and check it out - they did seem pretty exciting about the whole thing. I tried to explain that it is February and there's 20 inches of snow on the ground and the idea of young, chubby, pale girls drenching themselves with pitchers of IC Light was more appealing than what the reality would be.

The were pretty into it, though, and told me that they just had to check it out.

So I got a chance to catch up with the Guys today and asked, "So how was the thing at the place with the girls?"

First thing out of their mouths was "Sausage Factory". Big surprise there - I mean I told them that there just weren't a lot of Girls Going Wild here in the 'Burgh, at least not until the next Donnie Iris show or something.

And to round out there disappointment it wasn't even a full-fledged "Girls Gone Wild" kinda deal - just some stupid contest to select one girl to go off to a real "Girls Gone Wild" kinda place and participate in a Miss "Girls Gone Wild" contest (I really wish I was making this up). They said they got there at 9 PMish cause that's when the ad said things were kicking off, but the actual contest didn't start until almost 1 AM - you can do the math on the beer there, lol.

So it's pretty safe to say that there are still no Girls Going Wild here in the 'Burgh. But if you can get your ass down to the Pierogie Palace they do amazing things there with hot butter.

Man, I love those...

And there was that movie once with Bruce Willis, where he was a cop with a motor boat on the Three Rivers...

I learned everything I know about Pittsburgh from that one.

Sudden Death is a great *cough* Pittsburgh movie. Howard Baldwin put it together right before he drove the Pens deep in to bankruptcy.

Lady Beware was filmed in the Burgh and has some great shots of Diane Lane's tits.

Innocent Blood has some great shots of Market Square.

Silence of the Lambs was filmed here. Hannibal Lecter's cell was in the basement of the old County Jail. It's an office now.

The Deer Hunter was filmed locally - except for the mountain shots. No mountains like that in PA, lol.

Dogma was filmed here. Moobies used to be a Burger King, my wife worked about 100 yards away from there when they were filming. After they finished filming they tore it down and put in a Rite Aid. The church used in Dogma is in East Liberty - and was a real church at one time. LOL... at the time the movie was filming every time the local paper would mention it they would bill it as the "new George Carlin moviie". Real progressive folks here in the Burgh.

I'll stop now.

Fuck, I forgot to mention Inspector Gadget. One of the Burgh's finer moments landing that masterpiece.

Like he wants to leave. He's probably munching on O fries right now.

I think he's on his way dahn Primanti's now. Prolly gonna get himself the original and a Rolling Rock.

Make sure you warn him to watch out for Sean Gilbert. He's been know to eat people who walk too slowly dahn Forbes Ave.

I try. Depends on how much time I spend around the Yinzers. Unfortunately I'm surrounded by Yinzers at work right now.

No alcohol and no topless dancing at the same time? I thought I lived in the sticks.
I'll pick the wine, you take off your top and dance.
