Caught by mistake

A few years ago I was on a business trip when I checked into the hotel and got to my room someone was already in it. I opened the door and saw them going at it. I closed the door immediately and apologized through the door. I went down to the desk and told them that my room was already taken. That I opened the door and there Was someone already in that room.
They apologized and gave me a different room. I
Saw the couple the next day at breakfast and went to their table and apologized again and paid for their breakfast. We become friends after that. I have actually visited them and they have visited with me. They are a lovely couple and we have gone to some clothing optional beaches together and have been intimate together.
Has this ever happened to anyone else?
